Prolouge: I'll Always Be Around

The cold breeze and insomnia kept Rainey up, again. The familiar ceiling getting stared at for hours. Thoughts of depression filled the head of the lonely person in the lonesome room. On the nightstand was a phone, getting no notifications. A warm laptop sat on the girl's legs, being ignored. The girl found interest finding shapes and figures on the ceiling. Her attention went to the slowly moving fan on the ceiling. So many times she thought of tying a noose, wrapping it slowly around her small neck. But the frail girl never took the chance, she just couldn't. The attention turned back to the laptop as the brightness lowered, saying it was about to turn off. Rainey closed her laptop and sat up quickly causing her head to pang for a minute. She grabbed her phone typing in the simple passcode, and dialed the number she knew by heart.
Awsten Knight has been friends with Rainey practically since they were born. "Hello. Rai it's four in the morning. Did you take your medication." Awsten answered his phone with a tired voice. "I did. It's not working anymore." The lonely tired girl replied. "Well I'm in Dallas right now. Remember I am on tour, are you going to the concert tomorrow?" "You know it." Rainey yawned. "I'm actually getting tired thanks a lot. Night." The phone call ended, and so did all of Rainey's thoughts once she fell asleep.
The light shown through the little crack in the window, showing the messy room. The broken girl woke up, only getting three hours of sleep.
It was Friday, just one more day of stress. Just like every teenager, Rainey despised school. The stress just added to her depression. Luckily the day went by fast, making Rainey more excited. She is seeing her best friend again. The lonely girl won't be lonely any longer.
