Chapter 33 Anna's point of veiw

- Anna there is no easy way to say this but.....Mae has meningitis. She at the hospital still, but the doctors say she is only in stage one, so don't worry about her all day. see you after school.

My phone went off in the middle of life science.

"Anna turn it off and give it to me."The bitchy blonde teacher spoke.

I checked the message.

One tear spilled and I rushed out of the class room. I ran into the girls bathroom, went to the sinks and typed back to mother.

- Mother you need to come get me from school. I can't handle me self. I need to see Mae now! Please?!?!

- you have one day left of school. Your staying and Niall will have to bring you to the hospital after school.

I heard footsteps hit the tile floor of the bathroom, and out of the corner of my eye. Niall appeared.

"Anna baby, come here. Is everything alright?"He took me into his arms.

I handed him my phone with the message appearing on the screen. He let out a gasp and tighten his hug.

We sat in the bathroom for a minute or two before Maria came in.

"What the hell are you doing in here. Anna! He can't just come in here and baby you! Get him-" Niall cut in.

"What the hell your self! Anna's little sister is in the hospital and has just found out that she has meningitis. So Maria, maybe you should ask what happened nicely and then, go fuck your self!" He spit at her with rage.

Maria just stared at me with a shocked look in her eyes. I nodded indicating that it was true.

"Anna, I'm so sorry! Its just that the teacher was bitching at me to go find out what the fuck happened to you. And then I saw Niall come in here....and I-I'm just so sorry." She pleaded, and she walked up to me and Niall.

She joined our hug and we all just stood there peacefully. Until the teacher came in.

At this rate the whole class might as well come in.

"Okay, all of you get out now. Especially you mister, get out and start walking to the principles  office now! "  She snarled." You better have a good explanation for this."

"Mrs. Bridge, Anna got a text message from her mum saying that her little sister is in the hospital and just found out that she has meningitis." Niall tried to put it in the nicest way. "Her mum also said she has to stay at school, because its the last day and graduation is tonight. Anna would just like to sit in the nurses office for the rest of the hour, which is only, like...." He check his brown leather watch."Ten more minutes. So if you please."

It was like Niall read my mind exactly like a script.

Mrs. Bridge just  stood there with the same facial expression as Maria. Then she nodded her head and stepped aside.

Niall guided me to the nurses office, where he stayed with me until the bell ran, indicating that 6th hour was over and 7th hour was just starting. The last class of the day, and thankfully Niall and I have it together, its Mrs. Kubiek's English.

This is my favorite class and we are just watching a movie.

Niall walked me to my locker to put my stuff away.

We stepped into the classroom and everyone just stopped talking and stared at me with worried eyes.

"Anna.... I-I'm sorry about your sister. Are you okay?" A boy spoke up through the silence. I believe that his name is Marc, he has dark brown hair , dark eyes and is very tan.

"I'm okay now, and thanks." I gave him a warm smile. He nodded and went back to his conversation with his friends.

The teacher walked in the room right when the bell rang and everyone took their seats.

"Anna" Mrs. Kubiek called from her desk. I got out of my desk and walked to her. "I heard what happened, if you need to be alone. Feel free to walk out. You don't even have to say anything. Okay?"

"Thanks, but I think I'll be fine. Niall has been helping me." I gave a smile and a nod, then I walked back to my seat.

"Okay classroom, I'll be starting the movie. So find your seats." The whole class got up and moved seats.

I moved over by the door, so when the day was over Niall and I could quickly run out and grab our stuff, then leave.

The whole movie I was looking at the clock.

School ends at 2:23, and graduation starts at 6:00p.m.

DING!

I bolted out the door knowing that Niall was right behind me. My locker door was stuck for a second before I kicked and it flew open.

"Hey! Watch it!" my locker neighbor yelped.

"Shut up, I'm in a hurry!" I spat at him.

I cleaned my locker out and walked three lockers down to Niall's locker. He had gotten his locker cleaned yesterday, and all he had to do was grab his backpack.

"Let's get out of here."
