2: Group chat.

You awoke still curled up on the couch. The light sunshine pouring through the window before you fell asleep has turned into soft moonlight amongst many twinkling stars in the night sky.

You rolled over and checked your phone which was sitting on the coffee table next to the couch. You pressed the on button and was immediately blinded by the illuminated screen.

"Oh crap..." You muttered as you attempted to lower the brightness through squinted eyes.

Upon your eyes adjusting to the light, you see the time.

3:45 am

Below that, hundreds of notifications from your messages app waited. The first one being

"You were added to a group chat."

Unlocking your phone and checking the messages, sure enough, you had been added to a group chat named

"BTS chat!!! And y/n."

"Typical..." You murmured as you began to scroll through the messages in the chat.

You only read a few, but from what you saw it was mainly

"I'm tired."

"Where is y/n?"

And

"Can one of you get me some food?"

You snickered as you began typing a response to everyone.

You are now online.

Namjesus1242: Well look who's decided to join us.

HobiHorse11: Y/N!!!! <3

GoldenMaknaeJK: Oh hey there, Hoseok's girlfriend!

HobiHorse11 is typing...

You: Lmao, he's not my bf. Nice to meet all you guys though!

HobiHorse11: Y/n, aren't you supposed to be asleep? What is this monstrosity?!

CupOfTae: Hi y/n pls cuddle me when you get the chance ok im going to go get some chips

CupOfTae is now offline.

You: I fell asleep after I had lunch yesterday, and I just woke up.

OnceUJiminUCantJi: Hi y/n!!

MommaBear: So, y/n, how did you and our sunshine meet? Dating website?

You: Heh, nah. We met on YouTube when he was just posting stupid little rapping/singing videos. That was over 1 year ago.

Was the last thing you saw as your eyes blurred up with tears. Your phone screen illuminated the living room, yet everything seemed dark. You recalled going on YouTube that one faithful day almost a year and a half ago and seeing a new video from "Your Hope and Sunshine." You clicked onto it and saw him singing a dumb song about how he made an Instagram account to interact with his increasing number of fans.

You remember the moment you pressed the "send follow request" button and the surge of energy that flew through you. Weeks later, you were private messaging each other like you were old friends reconnecting. The rest is history.

Your sweet memories were interrupted by the loud sound of your phone ringing, making you jump slightly. You looked at your screen and saw the chat lively as ever.

CupOfTae: Shit sorry I accidentally called you guys.

GoldenMaknaeJK: Typical idiot Tae... smh

HobiHorse11: Y/n where'd you go??

Namjesus1214: She's probably asleep, buttchunk. Remember it's super early there. Stop worrying, she's fine.

GoldenMaknaeJK: Guys wth is that burning smell?

MommaBear: Kookie don't swear. I'm sure it's nothing.

OnceUJiminUCantJi: No Jin I smell it too!

You: Lmao wtf you guys burning down the house over there?

CupOfTae: Pineapples.

HobiHorse11: Taehyung be serious the house could be on fire.
