After school, Josh took me to the ice cream truck that wasn't too far from the school. He bought me a "Big Dipper, Cookies and Cream drumstick." I opened it and started stuffing my face because my stomach was so very empty.
"Slow down messy girl." Josh laughed.
"I'm starving, leave me alone." I replied also laughing with my mouth full.
He walked me home while I still wasn't done with my ice cream. Without me knowing, the cement was cracked and pushed up, so I tripped and dropped my ice cream.
"NOOOOOOO" I cried almost having tears in my eyes.
  Josh quickly pulled me up,
  "Are you okay babe?"
A tear ran down my eye,
"That ice cream was special to me and I'm still hungry."
I stood us as my eyes squinted looking down at my knee. It was scrapped but not bleeding very much. Josh looked at the injury that appeared on my knee and pulled off his backpack,
"Hold on I have a bandaid in my-"
  I cut Josh off,
"It's okay, I don't like bandaids, they keep the wound from breathing."
He smiled and put his backpack back on,
  "Are you sure?"
"Yeah, it's no big deal. Thank you anyways." I said standing on my tippie-toes to give him a kiss.
He smiled and walked me to the front door. I grabbed my keys and unlocked the door.
"Do you probably wanna stay here till my mom gets back?" I asked.
"Isn't that 6 days?" He murmured.
  "Yeah..."
There was a long pause as Josh thought of my question. I waited for him to give me an answer.
"Yeah, sure I will." He agreed smiling.
I grinned and we both walked into my home.
  "Ya still hungry?" he asked.
  "Very."
"I'll cook you noodles and give you more ice cream, okay?"
My head shook "yes" and layed down on the couch to watch and see how caring and hot my big burrito was.
