i asked if you could come over and you said, "baby, my car's broken down and i've got miles to get to you." a reason, i thought, was explainable. i asked you if you would ever come over and you said, "some day." we have forever, i thought, it's worth the wait. i asked if you would hold me and you said, "i wouldn't stop." i want your touch, i thought, i'm so alone. i asked if you love me and you said nothing. maybe, i thought, i asked the wrong answer. i asked if you love what i do and you said, "what you do for me." then, i thought, what do you love? so i asked you and you said, "the illusion of desire, the sound of your cries, the sadistic feeling of lies." well great spider, i thought, inject your venom in my veins and eat me alive, i'm caught in your trap so please don't make me wait. throw my carcass out once you're done but all i want is just once to be yours.
"when can i come over then?"
