Sorry it took so long to get this story started~ I've said this many times and I will say it again, the sole reason it takes so long is because I am probably the most lazy person you'll ever meet. CX None the less! This ride has started now let us see where it shall take us, hmmm? ~ Jesus Steven (Aka AllyTheAwesomeOne)

Steven stumbled through the front door, almost falling over as he entered the house. His body was on fire and screaming at him to sleep.  He slowly walked through his house towards his room, glancing at a clock as he walked.

10 am. It took him a whole 3 extra hours to get home this time around. There is no way he's making it to school now.
His mom was going to kill him when she came home from work, but for right now, Steven didn't care. His head was pounding and he could feel his fever only getting worse with every second he stayed awake.

He soon made it to his door, only to be faced with a note stuck to it. He strained his eyes to make sense of the cursive scribbles on the paper.

We need to have another talk when I get back.~ Mom.

Steven groaned as his brain put together the words his mom had left him. It was stupid to think that she wouldn't have noticed he was gone all night, when it was only their third day in this new town. Now, he was gonna be faced with twice the wrath his mother held.

He slowly pushed open his bedroom door and made his way inside.

After closing and locking his door, he carefully made his way to his bed before collapsing on it and sleep almost immediately taking him away.

~ We now enter Steven's dream/flashback oooooo spoooooky. Wat. It's not spooky? ...Oh....well, okay then...~

"Okay, c'mon we really need to get to bed now. Your sister is already passed out." Steven's dad said motioning towards Steven's older sister, who was passed out in her chair, a good distance away from the camp fire they were sitting around.

"Ahhww~ Do we have too, dad?" Steven's child self's voice echoed through the crisp air. His dad nodded sadly.

"We do, Steven. I'm sorry buddy, but we have to get up early tomorrow so, we have time to pack up before the rain sets in." His dad explained.

Steven pouted, his bottom lip sticking out and his eyebrows furrowing.

"But, I dont want to leave~" Steven whined, whilst kicking his feet in the dirt. "I want to camp forever!"

Steven's dad smiled, a chuckle making it's way past his lips.
"But, what about mom? She's waiting for us back at home y'know. Wouldn't it make her sad if we never came back?" His dad asked slyly.

"Yeah.. I guess so.."  Steven answered, his voice still sounding a bit disappointed. He then got up and made his way to his tent whilst his dad woke his older sister up.

Soon, they were all settled in the small tent and Steven eyes became heavy as he slowly started to fall asleep.

*snap*

Steven eyes
shot open. The cracking of twigs around his campsite was enough to pull him out of his sleep.
His eyes darted around the dark tent as he listened to the footsteps exploring his campsite. His mind was racing as his brain put together what was in there site; A bear.
It had to be bear. He remembered his dad talking to him and his sister about there being a good chance they would spot one while they camped.

Steven's mind suddenly went blank as he froze, the back of his neck drenched in cold sweat. The bear was now inches away from their tent, he could hear it's steady heavy panting as it shuffled closer to him and his family.

His eyes began to tear up in fear. He slowly reached out to tug on his dad's shirt and after getting no response from the sleeping man, he tugged a littler harder and frantically whimpered out "dad..", the breathing from the bear growing louder.

Then, suddenly.
Silence.
Steven's ears were ringing at the sudden absence of sound. His heart was pounding, it felt like it was on the verge of exploding.
He didn't move. He didn't speak.
Steven just laid completely and utterly still as his ears strained to hear movement from the animal that was just outside a moment ago.

It happened fast.

Steven didn't have time to react.

His sleeping sister didn't stand a chance as the animal ripped into the side of the tent and tore into her body. The silence in the tent was immediately filled with high pitched screams as Steven watched in horror as his sister was brutally mauled.

That's. Not. A. Bear.

Steven felt hot tears spill from his eyes, his body frozen in utter terror. He could barely hear his father screaming at him to run as his dad punched this 'thing' in the side of the head.
The creature seemed unfazed at the weak strength his dad's fist held and now that Steven's sister had grown silent in it's jaws, it turned it's mouth onto his dad.

It jumped forward pinning itself on top of Steven's dad, ripping the tent open even more in the process.
It's claws sunk easily into the grown man's flesh, earning a scream from it's victim.
The creature wasted no time clapping it's jaws around his dad's neck. It swiftly pulled it's head back,  the screams of the man was replaced with the sound of his own jugular and vocal cords being ripped out of his neck.

Dark red blood poured from his wounds joining his own daughter's blood on the floor of the tent, which was slowly soaking into their sleeping bags.

Steven's nose was filled with a heavy metallic sent, he would've gagged if his body wasn't frozen in shock. He just silently stared at the beast before him, as it greedily tore at his father's stomach.

"P-p-please...s-s-s-t-top...." Steven managed to whimper out, by now Steven could hear frantic shouting and running, coming from a neighboring campsite.

The creature slowly looked up at Steven, intestines hanging loosely out of its jaws. It let out a low growl, before lunging forward. It's teeth slammed themselves around Steven's shoulder.

Steven let out an ear piercing scream. His shoulder felt like it was being set on fire as the beast's teeth ripped deep into his flesh.

*Bang*

Suddenly the creature let go, it retreating quickly from the tent.

*Bang*

Gunshot..?

*Bang* *Bang* Bang*

Steven's eyes shot open, his shoulder was burning but he dismissed the uncomfortable feeling quickly. He was used to the pain and the tears that followed after awaking from that dream.

*Bang* Bang* *Bang*

"Steven! This is your last warning! Open this door now!" Steven heard his mom yell from the other side of his door after pounding on it.

Crap...
