When I came to I was nowhere I've been before. It was dark and hot. It felt like my skin could melt away. I couldn't bring myself to move, I just stood there.
"Singing?" I heard a woman singing a lullaby that seemed oddly familiar. I saw a woman and a baby. The woman was so happy. A man walked into the room smiling with a blanket.
"Hey! My blanket!" A moment of realization hit me, but I didn't want to believe it. Were those my parents? I started to cry the wet tears on my cheek woke me up from my slumber. The clock read 7:31 AM, Sam was fast sleep. I laid there and looked at his soft brown hair and twirled it around my finger. His eyes slowly open to look at me.
"Mornin doofus" he smiled and rubbed on my back. I smiled and kissed him.
"Morning!" I smiled and jumped rolled of bed which ended up with me falling on the ground. We both laughed as I got up. I sat on the bed and grabbed Sam's arm.
"Cmon wake up sleepy head!!! I wanna go places" I was pulling Sam's arm but he didn't budge. Instead he pulled me into his chest and held me tightly.
"I love you" he whispered it into my ear then kissed me. Whenever he kisses me I don't know just the feeling makes me happy. I gazed at the balcony outside and the blue sky. The clouds looked so fluffy and cute.
"I love you too Sam" I kissed his neck then to his mouth. He pulled me in closer just as we were interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Hey, are you two awake?" James was on the other side of the door but I knew he was about to come inside
