Frigid

Prologue

I remember...... I remember it all the deaths that killed most people of this world. after the meteor hit the atmosphere.... the impact shattered it for a few moments which dropped the temperature around 40-60 degrees around the world but, after it impacted the world well... that was different story. after it hit the ground it shrouded the sun with dusts and debris which dropped the temperature globally around 40 degrees.

I woke up shivering. wait where was I??? Oh no I thought. I was buried in snow!!!! I tried struggling to see if the snow was stiff and it was rock solid. I started to panic hoping I didn't have frost bite. Calm down I thought. I started breathing slower. Ok in a survival situation the first thing you should do is know that you're are lost and prepare for the worst. Ok I need to find a soft point on this snow. for hours I searched for a soft point in the snow and I noticed that there was no easy way to go out so I started digging. slowly using my gloves to do some work. what felt like hours I finally hit air. I slowly crawled out of the hole I had formed. feeling like I had been preserved in ice for a millennial. My body was sore and was aching I had to find somewhere I could rest. I slowly observed my surroundings. I saw many houses destroyed by collapsing but also there where a few that where suitable I slowly trudged through the snow getting more tired every second when finally found the house I was looking for it was old but also sturdy. partly made of stone and partly made of wood. I saw a sign sticking up right through the snow. I wiped the snow off and it read. Mountain Lake, I had heard it before My father Zack Williams grew up here as a kid.
