If You Knew....

If you could see my heart and how many scars it has. One for everything time I've been hurt.

Will you then understand that a heart that has been hurt so many times and still has the capability to love is the best heart of all.

If you knew how many times my heart has been turned to stone and wouldn't​ stay cold, would you value it?

If you only knew how many times it's been broken to pieces every time you lie and say I love you.

If you knew that the heart knows the difference between a lie and the truth, would you lie to me then?

If you knew how many times I wanted to rip my heart out of my chest so that my feelings would be gone and all that would be left is an empty shell. Would you respect my heart or how much I love you?

If you knew that the heart hurts and feels the most, would you still break it, now switch everything around and picture this what if was heartbroken, scared bruised. I'm sure would so tell me why would you break and hurt the heart that was given to you.
