I'm awkward
I get that all the time.
But if being awkward is what defines me
Then I'm awkward and I'll say it proudly.
Being awkward I'm always in a shell
Just like a butterfly in it's cocoon waiting to spread it's wings and fly. And just like the butterfly in it's cocoon I feel protected in my shell. Unlike most butterflies I don't make myself seen. I look instead,I look for a time that it's safe and I'm ready to leave my shell, spread my wings and fly.
I'm awkward so what?
It doesn't make me any different.
I'm awkward and I love that fact.
Being awkward defines who I am so what the hell. Being awkward is my new found kind of freedom.
