When Brielle and Jacob realized that their son, King Elijah Perez, was already born into the world, the doctors had already taken him and brought him to another room for test and life support.

The couple knew something was wrong because instead of hearing a loud cry that echoed the room, all they heard was;

Silence.

(Jacob POV)

My eyes immediately began to water. Brielle held on to me even stronger than before. I didn't even notice because I was in a lost for words.

"Where did they take him?" I just shook my head. "Where did they take him!". "Bri calm do-" Dom tried to say. "WHERE IS HE!".

The nurses were trying to calm her down but she wouldn't. She kept trying to get up but the nurses kept pushing her back down.

I have never seen her like that. Mrs. Taylor and Dom were looking just as surprised and dumbfounded as I was.

She was getting so violent, a nurse stuck a needle into her and she immediately calmed down and I could tell they put her to sleep.

"What did you do that for?" I asked in a blunt tone. "I'm sorry but she was gonna hurt herself if we didn't put her to sleep".

"Well, where is he?". "We don't have any information yet. They are running a few test to see if his lungs are somewhat functioning" a nurse said.

"Is that why he didn't cry?".

"Yes but we could see something else was wrong because some babies just don't come out crying and prior information that your OBGYN gave us told us too. If she wakes up and starts freaking out again, press that button right there. I'll give you a minute" the nurse said walking out.

My eyes were stinging, I frowned to try to keep them in. I just turned to look at Brielle. Her body laid so peacefully, it would be hard for anyone to believe what just happened a few seconds ago.

Dom came behind me and patted me on the back, "They are gonna be fine. God got you". He walked out along with Mrs. Taylor. I'm glad they left the room because as soon as they left everything I was holding in just let out.

About 10 minutes later, the nurse came back in. Brielle still hasn't woke up, which kind of scared me. "Before you say anything, how long is this supposed to last until she wakes up?" I ask interrupting whatever she was about to say.

"It should wear off 10 minutes after use but sometimes, it can last up to hours but she is okay".

"Is my son okay?".

Her face expression changed. "He is now breathing better but we are still running test. But of course in his state he will have to stay at the hospital for a few weeks just to make sure he is capable of breathing on his own fully when you take him home".

I let out my breath that I was holding. "Oh thank God" I say to myself. I'm glad he is alive, that's most important. "You can see him in about 10 minutes or until she wakes up".

After she walks out I smile hard and a feel of relief runs through me. Jasmine comes in and I'm still smiling hard. "Are they OK?".

"She was freaking out and got to the point that they had to inject with something but they said King is okay, well at least alive and that's all I care for". She slightly squeals and hugs me.

"I am proud of you, you know that? You are now a daaad, you getting old boy" she says. I laughed. "Thank you so much for everything" I hugged her so tight.

Jasmine was the one to get me to ask Brielle on a date and always gave me advice. She was the reason how I got all of those celebrities to out first date because she had connections. I am so thankful for her.

"No problem and King is a cute name" she chuckled.

When she said that, I saw Brielle start to move in the corner of my eye. I turned around to see her get up. "W-what" she laid back down after she realized that she was hurting.

"I-is he okay?" she asked me. "Yea, they said that he has to stay at the hospital a little longer because they still have to test and see if he can breathe fully on his own but he is alive. They said he is breathing better after they gave him something".

She put both her hands on her eyes. "Thank God" she put her hands to her side and held one of them in my hand. Jasmine smiles and walks out leaving us alone.

"We did it". She smiled lightly, "yea". "Did they really have to inject me? Was I really that bad?". "Yes". She laughs along with me.

I kiss her and move her hair back, "I love you". "I love you too. and by the way, he is gonna be a mommies boy so let me do the spoiling" we both laugh.

"Whatever you want" I say, pulling out my phone. "What are you doing?". "I got take a picture with you, to remember the moment".

I take the picture and caption it, "In the hospital with my everything. 1 child down, 4 more to go" I type and press share.

"What does it say?" I show her my phone. "Mm, that's cute except you messed up on one thing". "What?" I ask curiously.

"I think I wanna have 10 more babies with you instead of only 4". We both laugh. "You think I'm playing".
