After dropping by the convenience store, Rylee, Georgeanna, and Spidey went to a near-by hotel and checked into two rooms. One with two single beds for the girls, and another room with a single bed for Spidey. After a while of unpacking, Spidey changed to his pajamas (with his mask still on to keep his identity a secret) and went to Rylee and Georgeanna's room to join them in their Netflix and chilling.
"So, what are we watching?" Spider-man asked, flopping on the couch beside Gorgeanna. Gorgeanna munched on her popcorn. "Eh, I don't know. High school musical?" She replied, scrolling through the list of movies.
"Fine by me." Spidey agreed, getting some popcorn from Georgeanna.
A loud shriek was suddenly heard from the room. "AAH! Gorgeannaaaa! There's a cockroach in the bedroom!" Rylee appeared hugging her friend, as if that could protect her from the cockroach. Gorgeanna's eyes widened. "Did you just say cockroach?" She asked. Rylee nodded climbing on the couch. "Nu-uh! I am not gonna kill it" Gorgeanna said, running away afterwards. "What? Why?" Rylee whined grabbing the popcorn.
Spider-man stood up. "I'll catch it" he announced walking towards the other room. He looked around to see any signs of a cockroach.
Suddenly, the cockroach jumped on Spidey's shoulder, causing him to yelp in surprise. Spidey swatted it with his hand as aggressively as possible. The cockroach fell of his shoulder, but it was still on the loose. Spidey got the newspaper that was on the bedside table, rolled it, and continued swatting the cockroach. After a while of swatting it, Spidey realized that the cockroach will never die no matter what (he remembered that cockroaches could still live without their head, which was plain creepy). Spidey quickly slid the cockroach onto the newspaper and threw it out of the window.
He went back to Rylee and Georgeanna, who wouldn't dare put their feet on their ground in fear of the cockroach.
"Okay! It's gone now!" Spidey announced walking back towards the couch with a proud expression, which wasn't visible cause' he was wearing his mask.
Rylee squinted. "Are you sure it's gone? You know cockroaches could appear anywhere, even if you throw them out of the window". Gorgeanna nodded in agreement. Spider-man raised his hands in defense.
"Come on, I'm sure the cockroach will find someone else to bug off." (PUNS IM SO SORRY)
"Okay, I guess that'll convince me." Rylee said. "Now, onwards with the movie!" Rylee exclaimed, pressing the play button on the screen.
Goreanna grabbed the bowl of popcorn and started munching on them. "How about we watch Martian?" Gorgeanna suggested. Rylee stared at her.
"You only wanna watch that movie cause' Sebastian Stan is there"
"what? You can't blame me, Sebastian Stan is the definition of perfection!" Gorgeanna exclaimed throwing the popcorn in the air. Somehow the popcorn managed to land on Rylee's mouth. "Is this buttered?" Rylee asked, while munching.
"I guess so- Gasp! Is that Once Upon A Time!?" Gorgeanna shouted excitedly pointing on the screen. Rylee stared at confusion. "Wait, aren't we in the movie section? Why is once upon a time here?"
"Don't question. Just press the watch button" Gorgeanna shushed. "How about we watch High School Musical instead?" Spidey suggested
"YES." Rylee and Georgeanna exclaimed in unison. Rylee pressed the High School Musical icon and the trio waited patiently for the movie to load. After a while, the movie started playing. "Love this movie." Rylee said. "This is still one of the best movies I've watched." Georgeanna said. "It's okay, I guess." Spidey shrugged. "But the songs are undeniably catchy."
