This is a story about a girl who fell in love with an everyday hero. He became the light of her life and she became his. The thing is, they didn't know it yet.
She is an ambitious accountant that has a big heart. She is selfless, hardworking and caring but you should also know that she is an absolute disaster in the kitchen. So, it should not come as a surprise to say that she nearly burnt her house down.
Well it would have burned down if the San Diego Fire Department hadn't shown up on time and bearing a gift too.
Lieutenant Carter Andrews is in for a surprise when he shows up at Alexis Sawyer's house with his team in tow. She captures his attention on sight and maybe his heart too.
