Love poem

I wake up every morning and walk down each stair,

I grab my cup of coffee and brush my crazy hair.

I hear a knock at the door and open it up wide.

"Come on in. Please come inside."

You sit down on the couch with your beautiful smile,

And we sit and we chat for quite a while.

Lunch time rolls around and you get up to go,

I wrap my arms around you and say, "No."

I do not let you leave my house,

I keep you here like a pet mouse.

I see you every morning,

With a smile upon your face.
