Jack's POV
My hand was abruptly slapped onto the blaring alarm. I groaned, slightly rolling out of bed. I quickly went into the kitchen to eat breakfast.Once I was finished, I went back into my room to get changed. I quickly picked out a light green sweater and a dark green small flower crown to go with it. I tugged on my black pants, slipped on my sweater, and pulled on my socks.
I slid with my socks to the bathroom; almost missing it and getting smacked in the face by the wall. Instead, I grabbed onto the side of the door and walked in.
Once I was done brushing my teeth and combing my highlighter green hair, I quickly stepped into my shoes and got my bag.
I ran like sonic to the bus stop. My parents never bother to drive me or get me a car. So, I have to deal with running to the bus stop every. Single. Day.
Once I got to the bus stop, I saw that guy that I bumped into yesterday. His eyes sparkled in the early sunlight, his chiseled face and body shadowed in the perfect of places. I caught myself staring at the beautiful man.
He looked over, a gentle smile on his face that could make someone fall for him instantly.
And i'm one of those people.
But of course their is always something that ruins the moment. The bus trudged along; the breaks screaming 'lord help me.'
I hurriedly stepped up the stairs into the bus; squeezing against people to get an empty seat in time.
Of course, no empty seats were to be found.
I turned back around to be faced with the beautiful man I saw at the bus stop. I felt my cheeks warming with a familiar red blush that I always had because of being embarrassed so many times.
"Ahh.. sorry?" I meekly said to him. He looked to be thinking.
"Want to sit together?" He answered.
"Uh-- s-sure," I replied, tripping over my words.
We ended up finding a seat that was empty; I must have overlooked it.
"I think I saw you yesterday," He questioned; looking right at me.
"Y-yeah. I'm still really sorry that I bumped into you," I answered.
"It's completely fine! I'm actually glad you bumped into me," He confirmed.
"Wait really?" I asked.
"Yeah. You seem like a really nice person," He claimed.
"Oh! Did I say what my name is?" I asked.
"No, you didn't," He said; chuckling a bit after.
"I'm Jack. Nice to meet you," I replied.
"I'm Mark. Nice to meet you too," He said, grinning.
-Time Skip-
I trudged along to band; With Mark. We had become good friends after that conversation we had on the bus.
We both pushed open the double doors. We laughed after seeing people snap their heads to our direction.
Mark played the trumpet and I was drums so we had to unfortunately be separated.
I repeatedly caught myself staring at him. But honestly, it was hard not to.
-End of School-
I quickly speed-walked to the school doors. I didn't feel like being punched today.
But of course; life wanted differently.
"Hey little fucker! Come over here!" They yelled.
I ignored them.
I heard footsteps coming closer and closer.
They soon got to me. I was roughly pushed down and kicked in the leg.
"What the fuck is your problem?! Are you fucking deaf?!" One person in the group said.
I was met with punches and slaps. Bruises and red handlike marks.
"HEY! What the fuck is your problem you douchebags?!" Someone familiar yelled.
Mark?
