*WARNING* the feels and drama is strong in this chapter.

Jack's POV
Mark?

I lied on the floor; the pain lingering. I was hopeful that he was here to save me. My vision was getting hazy.

Save me Mark...

I blacked out.

Mark's POV
I ran to Jack, enveloping him in my arms.

"Oh my God.. Jack.. please.. wake up.." I whimpered.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" I screamed at the boys. Tears streamed down my face.

I shakily pulled my phone out of my pocket and called 911.

Ring..

Ring..

"911, what is your emergency?" A lady asked on the phone.

"M-my friend got b-beaten by 4 bullies a-and passed out," I explained; my tears threatening to fall.

"Where are you?" The lady questioned.

"Blue Oaks High School," I answered.

"Ok, we will be there very soon. Stay calm sir," The lady said; She hung up right after.

Lets just say I didn't stay calm.

I punched one guy in the nose, punched another in the stomach, and the rest ran off.

I went back down to the floor where Jack was and I cradled him.

Please be okay.

-Time Skip-

I was biting my nails in the waiting room; doubtful that he was okay.

Its been 3 hours and he hasn't woken up yet.

As if on cue, a doctor came into the waiting room and called my name.

"Mr. Fischbach?" The doctor slightly yelled.

"Thats me," I answered, coming up to him.

"Jack is awake. You can see him now," He explained.

I quickly followed him to the room Jack was in.

"Oh my God, Jack.." I whimpered out. He had an IV in his arm and tons of bruises.

"H-hi, Mark.." He whispered.

I ran up to him, tears trying to escape my eyes.

"Jack... Everything will go back to normal when we get out of here; I promise," I choked out.

He weakly smiled, saying "You sure?"

"I'm sure," I answered, smiling back.

The doctor cleared his throat, and I turned to look up at him.

"As you can see, Sean-- Or Jack I should say, has a broken rib and lots of bruises. He also hit his head but fortunately it didn't cause any damage," The doctor explained.

I stood there in shock. A broken rib? That must have been hard on him. I turned back to Jack; A frown worn on his face. He was crying.

"I-It's all m-my fucking f-fault," He whimpered out.

"Jack! No, it's not your fault! Those jackasses are just jealous," I responded, a small smile growing onto my face.

"B-But w-why would they b-be jealous? They have nothing to be j-jealous about," He was crying harder as he choked those words out.

I gently hugged him, hoping not to hurt him. My shirt was getting stained of tears at this point.

-Time Skip-

I eventually got him to calm down. He was sleeping softly in the hospital bed, his chest rising and falling. I sighed; I didn't want to see him like this.

But of course, this just had to happen.

The next few days were hectic. A few doctors would show up in the hospital room every hour or so, which kept me awake overnight.
Jack was getting better; and I could tell just by looking at him. Besides being hooked up by machines, of course.

When we get back to school, i'm going to kill those fucking bullies.
