Saturday morning
11:30am
Bec starts to wriggle around a bit and then groaning very loudly, I throw a pillow at her face to shut her up.
J - b you gotta go, I'm going out
B - with who
J - actually you're coming, come on we've got 20 minutes
B - WHAT! She shouts and races out of bed to my bathroom.
30 minutes later we make it to Kaffeine, one of my all time favourite cafes. I see Adele and smile, she sees me and smiles as well but it fades when she sees I'm with someone. Bec taps me on the shoulder and is freaking out because she can see Adele.
A - hey Jess, who's this? She asks sadly
B - Y-y-you know Adele, JESS HOW COULD YOU NOT TELL ME?
J - B, chill I met her yesterday and this Adele is Rebecca, my best friend. Adele relaxes into her chair when I say this.
A - please sit.
An hour later Bec goes to the bathroom.
J - I'm sorry, she's a huge fan of yours, I'll ask her to leave once she gets back.
A - oh no please don't, that's just mean, can we have dinner, just us at my place?
J - of course I would love that. I say with a smile.
A - 6 then?
J - Perfect, can't wait. Bec returns
B - sorry I took so long my friend came to visit. She says with a little laugh. Should we go?
J - Yep, I'll pay. I run to the counter before they can say anything.
A - you didn't have to do that Jess. She says while Bec nods in agreement.
J - I know, but I wanted to. I say smiling at only Adele.
At 1:30 Adele states that she has to get going and gives Bec a hug and me a hug and a kiss on the cheek, I blush and smile at her.
J - I have to go shopping, would you like to come?
B - oh um yeah sure I've got nothing else to do.
J - sweet lets go babes
At 4:30 I finally find an outfit to wear to Adele's house. I hug Bec and race to the uber. I rush inside and head for the shower. Once I'm out I blow dry and curl my hair. I do minimal make up and chuck my clothes on. I'm ready by 5:45 and start freaking out when I realise I don't know her address so I quickly text her and get an uber. I arrive outside only 5 minutes late.
