I text Adele straight away.
I had so much fun last night, sorry I left, not sure why I did. I felt so safe in your arms, please don't hate me, I don't know what I was thinking. Can I come see you?
Half an hour later I get a reply.
Glad you texted, I was pretty sad. Of course you can come see me, you can help me make breakfast
I smiled and started walking back to Adele's.
I knock on the door and she looks at me shocked.
J - what? Did I do something?
A - get inside, it's fucking freezing. Let me get you some warm pants.
She returns with a pair of sweats and I put them on straight away and hug Adele so tight.
J - I'm sorry
A - it's ok, do you want bacon and eggs or pancakes
J - I don't mind
A - alright pancakes, come help. She says as she pulls me behind her
I stick my finger in the left over pancake mix and wipe it along Adele's nose.
A - HEY GET IT OFF ME IM WASHING DISHES. I stick my tongue out to lick it off her nose and say 'mmm' and laugh. She grabs my face with her wet hands and kisses me passionately, I return the kiss but realise who I'm kissing and immediately say sorry and leave once again.
It was now Friday and I hadn't talked to Adele since the kiss but I needed her help on what colour cast to get. Bec thinks purple but I hate purple so I text Adele.
Hey Adele, I'm getting my cast today and need your help on what colour to get.
No reply for an hour, by this time I'm in the uber halfway to the hospital.
Is that all you have to say? Light blue.
I read her text shocked, I didn't think she'd reply like that
Do you want to meet up and talk after I get my cast on?
I can't I'm in Australia on vacation.
I look at my phone sadly
Oh okay thanks.
I can fly you over if you like

It is, I miss your voice, I was so happy when you texted me.
I smile at her text but ignore it because they call my name.
Half an hour later I get out with my blue cast on and decide to text Adele.
Looks so good, thanks for helping with the colour.
Can't wait to see it. Your flight is tonight.
Wait what?!? How long am I staying there?
Well I'm with my mum and her boyfriend so I need a buddy, we're here for a month. PACK CLOTHES FOR SUMMER ITS FUCKING HOT
Before I know it I'm in the car on the way to Adele's hotel so I text her
Hey, nearly at the hotel. I'm really tired though can we talk tomorrow. I send it hopeful she is going to approve because I was really tired.
Yeah for sure it's really late anyway.

(I know there's a time difference and stuff but bare with me please)
I wake up on Monday at 6am but it feels weird because it's only 9pm Sunday night at home. I feel myself starting to get hungry so I look through a book to see what time breakfast starts, which doesn't start til 7 so I just watch TV.
At 7 I head straight downstairs to get FOOD. I grab a full plate and look for somewhere to sit, when I turn around I see Adele and the others at a table and turn the other way to sit by myself. I get a text assuming it's from Adele or Bec.
Where are you? It was Adele
Breakfast. I reply
So are we.
Yeah I saw you.
Why didn't you sit with us.
I've never met your mum and it was really busy next you.
Alright I'm coming to join you.
Adele seems to find me pretty quickly in the crowded restaurant.
A - hi
J - how are you
A - I'm good, how are you, how was your flight?
J - it was good. Do you want to talk about what happened or?
A - I mean we may as well, why'd you leave.
J - we had just met, I didn't want to rush into things I'm sorry
A - no I'm sorry I didn't know you felt like that. But I do like you very much
J - likewise but I would like to go on more dates first.
A - I see. So we're going to Currumbin wildlife sanctuary today do you want to come?
J - no thanks it's my first day here, might go walking around a bit, tan on the beach later. I'll join you guys for dinner though. I say with a smile
A - sounds good. I gotta get going, enjoy yourself today, don't get lost
J - yeah you have fun.
At 7:00pm Adele texts me to say that they are at Burleigh Town Tavern. I walk there since I'm around the corner.
Outside are a few paps for Adele. When I get there Adele sees me straight away and comes in for a bear hug.
A - did you enjoy today
J - yeah it was fun, did you have fun with all the animals
A - yes! I fed a kangaroo and held a koala
J - awe that's too cute, anyway are you going to introduce me or no?
A - oh yeah. Mum, James. This is Jess, Jess this is mum and James
J - Hi, nice to meet you both. I say with a laugh.
2 hours later Adele is dancing with a stranger who is drunk out of his mind well they both are. I turn away smiling continuing to talk to people, when I turn back they are making out, she's not even trying to stop it. I pick up my things and storm out, walking back to the hotel.
