3. Awkward Glances

  Lilly's POV

I let Dom in and shut the door behind us, leading him to the sofa in silence.
  We both sat down, several feet away from eachother. It was still so quiet..
  I glanced over at him just as he did the same, before I quickly turned away.
  "So.." I mummered awkwardly as I watched him.
  He took a deep breathe in and stared down at the floor, "This doesn't mean anything... It doesn't take back anything," his shoulders tensed up as he said the words in an unordinarily cold voice.
  "Why  do you have to be like this! Why can't you just let go of it!!! Nothing happened!" I snapped suddenly, shaking with rage as I stood up over him.
  He got up slowly, eyes like fire, burning into  me, "You can't pretend like nothing happened anymore Lilly. YOU JUST FUCKING CAN'T!" He closed his eyes... He did that a lot now.... "Lilly, I don't even want to think about it anymore..." He stepped closer and It was suddenly harder to breathe.....it was all to familiar, flashes of memories surged through my mind before I pushed them away, he spoke in almost a whisper now...so close to me....yet he wanted nothing to do with anything related to me.., "I just need you to help me.. Okay?"
  I found myself nodding, but regained my composure quickly by crossing my arms, "fine, you can sleep on the sofa," I grumbled.
"Thanks," Dom mumbled,  realizing how close we were all of a sudden before taking several steps back towards the couch.
  "Ummm," I stumbled, "You were out in the rain, do you.. Uh...do you want to change, I have some stuff of humble's that may fit you.."
  He seemed to think before quietly responding, "Yeah...I would like that,"
  I went upstairs to grab the clothes and returned downstairs to see Dom shivering, "Here, I got you a sweater and some lounge pants.."
  He took them and I went into the kitchen to let him change, but I had forgotten my phone in the other room so I covered my eyes as I entered the living room,
  "Hey, can I have my phone," I stammered.
"Lilly Im not naked you know that right?"
  "I just didn't want to make you uncomfortable..I'm not used to having guests around," I said as I took my hand away from my eyes.
  Damn....Dom stood in front of me shirtless, arms crossed self conciously, well Lilly.. You have a hot shirtless man in front of you who you just happen to hate..this is awkward..
"I'm just gonna get this," I said quickly, grabbing my phone from the table.
  He pulled the sweater on and lied down on the sofa, yawning,
  "I'm gonna get to bed Dominic, We'll talk about....stuff... tomorrow," I said as I headed towards the stairs.
  "Sure," he said emotionlessly,
  "Goodnight Dominic,"
  "Goodnight Lilly,"

Short ass Chapter I know but ya know I'm taking it slow this time so...I hope you liked it, the next part is coming soon.
