Briana POV :

 

"Excuse me?"

I raise my eyebrow and smile when see who's the one dare to interrupt me with my book.

"Hey"

"What are you doing here, Rhys?" I said happily to see him.

"Having a lunch with my friend when I saw you sat here and so serious with the book" Was his reply and I notice several man staring questioning to our direction from outside "You alone?"

I turn my gaze back to him and nodded.

"Charlotte has a meeting with Raul and I want to finish this book" I smile and explain while show him the book on my hand.

"Join us"

Chocked, I quickly shook my head.

Not that I don't want to, but talking with his friend, was truly a stranger for me is freaked me out.

Rhys smile and touch my hand softly, I guess he knows what am I thinking right now.

"I am here, Bree" He assured and tightening his hand on mine.

Sighed, I nodded dejectedly.

He help me collects my belonging before we both start walking to where his friend waiting in front of the cafe where I sit before.

"Sorry for making you wait" Rhys talked to his friend at the same time pit his hand on my back for support, he know me enough and my freight of unknown man "When I saw this pretty girl, I know I can't just leave her" His last words made the four of his friend gave a questioning gaze to me.

"You're cheating, Rhys?" One of his friend speak and teased him who just rolled his eyes.

"Idiot" He murmured and shook his head before added "Guys, this is Briana Gomez Brancaccio" I notice how Rhys friends eyes bulged when he mention 'Brancaccio' name.

Charlotte did mention about me using the Brancaccio name while I am here, for my safety, I guess their family having the same idea about that.

Awkwardly, I just wave my hand and smile.

"She's...."

"Charlotte little niece" Rhys interjected his friend and made all of them nodded understand before slowly their giving me their hand and telling his name.

"Alejandro, nice to meet you, Briana"
