Chapter 14: Paralyzed

Avi kept running trying his best to catch up to the cop cars, keeping them insight.

He panted and was having a hard time catching his breath.

He stopped for a second and held his knees and looked at the ground trying not to collapse to the ground.

Looking back up, he breathed a sigh of relief noticing the cars turning a different corner, opposite the lake.

He smirked a little hoping mitch was just fine...

That was avi's last sigh of relief when he heard a sickening scream coming from the lake.

"MITCH!!!!!"

Thunder shook the sky with a powerfull boom.

Avi got back up and ran even faster towards the lake.

Entering the area he noticed a dark clothed man hovering over mitch looking up shielding his face with his arms.

Avi never stopped running, rushing towards him at full speed staring at him with unbelievable anger.

"grrrrrrAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Avi screamed throwing himself into the masked man tackling him and launching themselves a couple feet to the mitch's left.

Avi now on top of the masked man began to beat him sensless and knocked the gun out his hand.

Avi got his head a little too close to the masked man and in between avi's blows to the face sent his forehead flying into avi's.

They both knew the one way to end this was to grab the gun...

Mitch layed there head acheing from the pistol whip he took to the temple. He was suprised he wasn't knocked out.

Mitch moaned and sat up watching the two brawl.

Everything seemed kindv'e blury but, he did his best to focus on the situation at hand.

He looked around to see if anything could help beat this man.

The Gun...

Mitch tried to get up but, couldn't he was too wobbly and fell straight back down.

'I can't...feel my legs... Why can't i feel my legs...'

That blow really did a number on his brain...

If mitch couldn't walk towards the gun, he started to crawl.

He noticed out of the corner of his eye the man and avi were still going at it with all there might, both fighters trying to grasp the gun the best they could but, the other fighter would always stop them before they could do it.

Avi fell to the ground with a massive punch to the nose and the man instantly turned, running towards the gun but, instantly stopped.....

Mitch sat there, arms outstretched pointing a gun directly towards the masked man.

Mitch started to shake.

Even with his shaky hands mitch's facial expression has never been more serious and ruthless.

"Take the mask off....now."

Silence.

"TAKE THE FUCKING MASK OFF!!!" Mitch screamed.

The masked man chuckled.

"Now mitch....you dont think i'd let you go that easily now did you?"

Mitch's eyes widened. lowering his gun as the man removed his mask.

"No....." Mitch eyes started to tear up.

Mike stood there smiling a triumphant smile.

If he could ruin mitch's life he would.

Avi slowly got up, nothing but blood covered his shirt.

He panted softly and quietly trying not to warn mike he's on his feet.

"Pathetic child..." Mike laughed.

"I don't think you understand the position you're in here."

"I know exactly the position im in."

Mike reached his hand to the back of his pants to grab for another gu.....

'Wheres the gun.'

Mitch smiled.

Mike started to panic. He had this all planned out. The gun mitch had was empty. He knew this would happen so had a back up gun just in case AND ITS GONE!

'......AVI!'

Mike gasped realizing his mistake and turned to see avi was gone.

Mike turned back around to see avi flipping the tables and having mike barrelstuffed with a pistol.

"IM DONE!!" Avi screamed.

Avi fired a bullet straight through mikes skull.

Mike from the bullet velocity fell backwards and landed straight on his back.

Avi's hand shook and he closed his eyes in realization on what he had just done.

"Avi...i..*sniffle*..i...cant feel my legs."

Mitch's eyes started to water and his voice started to get more scared by the second.

Avi turned to see mitch trying to lift one of his legs up
....just to see if flop back to the ground.

You couldn't tell mitch was crying due to the rain but, avi knew he was.

"Oh no..."
