All alone,
I sat to eat lunch,
You look at me and smile.
I ask you how you're doing,
You stutter,
You say you're doing fine.
I say that's good,
I think to myself,
I think I'll like him in a little while.
While the class whirls away,
endless minutes,
I look at you and smile.
5 years later,
we are in love,
The wait was worth the while.
