Will Solace had always been..
Well, different, growing up for instance.
While other boys liked to play with cars and get mud under there toes Will liked to play with dolls inside with the girls.

When he was a young teenager instead of looking at porn and talking about girls tits with the guys, he'd gossip with the ladies about their crushes and who'd most likely end up with who.
All the girls accepted him as one of their own in the cliché pack order of the school.

The boys on the other hand... Not so much.
At first they left him alone and let him do what he wanted, but as they got older so did their vocabulary.

"My dad says people like you are called faggots."

"Are you gay or something?"

"Ew, I bet he sucks dick."

Will, tend to ignore all this, and friends like Kayla or Lou Ellen always had his back.
Even a few boys like Cecil and Jason accepted him without complaints.

In most groups he was the pet, the one everyone looked after no matter what, to others he was a little ball of innocence that needed protection.
Jason had been an acceptance.

"Hey Will, are you going to the party at the Hades house tonight?" Jason asked.

Before he could answer Lou Ellen wrapped an arm around him and in a stern voice told him no.

"What?! Why not?! It will be fun!"

"Because one, I don't trust the host, di Angelo isn't it? He dropped out last year!"

Will recalled faint memories of Nico di Angelo, he had been a year ahead him and known for being a punk and a sort of ladies man.
He had only associated with him once and that was when he blew smoke from his cigarette in his face making him cough.

"And two I'm pretty sure they'll be booze or some kind of drug and he'll get raped or something because he's so cute and no way Grace."
Lou Ellen was sort of his school mom, if Will was being bullied she'd tell them off and make them regret their lives.
Or she'd remind him to turn in his homework when he forgot. Will didn't mind much.

"Well what does Will want to do?" Jason asked crossing his arms.

Everyone looked at the small freckled tan blonde.

"Uh well.. I've never really been to a party.." Despite Will's good fun loving nature, he could also be very socially awkward and in all of his 16 years he never been to a real party party.

And he had a good feeling about this one.

"I wanna go." He decided.

"See Lou? He's ready!"

Lou Ellen shook her head but didn't say anything else as Jason and Kayla started deciding what Will should wear tonight.

Will's jaw dropped when he saw the house, it was basically a mansion. Well at least compared to the two bedroom house where he and his mom lived.

After a lot of arguing, Jason and Kayla finally settled on light jeans, a yellow and black flannel with a black under shirt and white and black flats.

As soon as he entered the house everyone went there separate ways (including Lou Ellen who wanted to meet up with Cecil) Will instantly knew he did not belong here.
