Who Are We Now?

Nico had been anxious to see his boyfriend after so many weeks.
Will had gone on a quest with two other demigods because the prophecy said a son of healing would be needed.
And Will was the best they had.

He barely got any sleep since he was gone because he didn't have anyone to keep the nightmares away. Though he Iris Messaged him daily he hadn't heard from him in two weeks.
Nico was very scared, but it was the end of February and that's when the due date ends.
He should be back any minute.

"They're here!" He heard someone call out as tiny dots of some kind of flying animal descended from the sky.
Nico shoved people out of the way with it saying excuse me, he'd apologize later.

A flock of full scale mini dragons, landed, each was large enough to hold two people.
6 people, six, were back from a quest meant for three, that couldn't be good.

"Will?! Where's Will?" Nico said running around the dragon's feet.
Cecil with a few scars around his face jumped off an amber scaled dragon, a boy Nico didn't recognize slid off after him and started tending the dragon.

His face looked sad as he caught Nico by the shoulders and forced him to look at him, he started speaking but Nico could barely hear them over the cheering of the crowd as Sherman Yang, son of Ares held up the trophy they went to great lengths to save.

"Will's not.. Alright.. He had to drink something.. As part of the trials.. And he hasn't been the same since.."

"What do you mea-"

"He doesn't remember anything.."

Nico felt his heart break into a million pieces.

"You're- you're lying.."

"I'm not lying Nico I prom-"

"NO SHUT UP! HE'S FINE!"

Nico kept running through the dragons till he found Will leaning against a scarlet dragon. He had his back turned to him and seemed to be talking to someone. Even from a distance Nico could tell how badly wounded he was.

"WILL!" Nico called out as he ran to them.

He brought Will into a huge hug ignoring the girl he was talking to.

Before Will could even hug back Nico pulled away and held the sides of his face as he got a good look of him.

He had a black eye, and a deep cut on his cheek, but he was just as handsome as he remembered.

But as Will looked at Nico his eyes swam with confusion.

"I'm sorry.. But who are you..?" He asked and that made Nico let go of him and back off a little.

"No. No. No... Will you can't.. Its me... You're back.. I'm here.. What happened..?"
Will's face looked pained for a moment as if remembering was like getting stabbed.

"I'm sorry.. I don't know you.."

The girl wrapped her arms around him from behind. She had short dark red hair and freckles and the same eyes as Piper.

A daughter of Aphrodite.

She was truly beautiful.

She looked at him curiously.

"You're Nico? Right? He use to talk about you all the time.."

Nico didn't realize he was crying until he felt the tears slide down his face, Will looked at him horrified. Darkness was spewing out of him like a tidal wave.
