Ok so I absolutely hate homework
Why? Just think about it
1). Your teachers know you stay in this building for literally 7-8 hours and sometimes more
2). Your teachers, when giving you homework, are basically saying that they're too lazy to teach the class while you're at school so you have to do it at home
3). Sometimes teachers give you homework just because they want to
So I had this one teacher who was like new and crap and she hated me because I would ask so many questions. So one day, she was like, "Oh hey class, how often have I ever given you homework?"
And I was like, "Once or twice."
And then she was like, "I'll go print off some homework then." So she runs out of the room and comes back with like, this packet of 8 pages. Most of us are done with our work, so we're literally just sitting there. So I get up and ask her if I can start on my homework now. Wanna know her reaction?
"Um, because you were so rude about it I'm not going to give it to anyone until the last five minutes."
ALL I LITERALLY SAID WAS, "Oh hey Mrs. Teacher, I'm finished with my work so maybe I can start on my homework, if that's ok with you?" I wasn't demanding anything from her, I was asking. There's a difference between demanding and asking them.
GUESS THE FRICK WHAT MRS. TEACHER
WANNA KNOW HOW MUCH I CARE ABOUT UR USELESS CLASS AND THIS HOMEWORK?!? That night I went home with my eight page packet and didn't finish. I did the first two pages and then spit on it. Literally, I don't know why, but I spit on it. I then went to go read because READING HELPS YOU GET SMARTER WHILE FILLING OUT PAGES ABOUT CANDY ADVERBS ISN'T. OH YEAH, IM REALLY GONNA NEED CANDY ADVERBS EVERY DAY. WOW LOOK HERES ONE COMING RIGHT NOW
"Mrs. Teacher."
"Yes?"
"I only did the first two pages."
"Why?!? That shows that you don't care enough to do your work."
"I would care if it was classwork, not something you forced us to do when we aren't even in your class and have limited sources of help. The fact that you gave us eight pages of work to do by ourselves at home shows that you're too flipping lazy to teach your own class so you make us learn it at home. I've learned more things about life in Space Dandy then I have in your damn class room. Thank you for understanding."
