Chapter 8

Ruby pov

Me and Weiss decided to fly to the temple on a giant Nevermore, which was probably my greatest idea ever.

Weiss: Ruby! I told you this was a terrible idea!

Ruby: We're fine! Stop worrying!

Weiss: I am so far beyond worrying!

Ruby: In a good way?

Weiss: In a bad way! In a very bad way!

Ruby: Well why don't we just jump!

Weiss was about to say something, but I already jumped off the Nevermore. It didn't take me long to realize that was a bad idea.

Sonic pov

We heard someone screaming.

Yang: Blake, what should we do?

She pointed to the sky and we all looked up to see Ruby falling. Luckily, Jaune flew into her out of nowhere before she hit the ground. They bumped into a tree and I think Jaune got stuck.

Sonic: Did your sister just fall from the sky?

Yang: I-

???: YEEHAW!

Before Yang could answer, a girl came charging through the forest riding a bear that didn't live long.

???: Aww. It's broken.

A guy wearing green with a small speck of pink in his hair ran towards the bear exhausted.

???: Nora? Please... don't ever do that again.

He looked up at her, but she was already at the shrine dancing with one of the chess pieces.

Nora: I'm the queen of the castle! I'm the queen of the castle!

???: Nora!

Nora: Coming Ren.

Blake: Did that girl just ride in on an Ursa?

Yang: I-

Before Yang could say anything, we saw Blaze, Silver, and a redhead running from a giant scorpion.

???: Jaune!

Ruby came from the trees.

Yang: Ruby!

Ruby: Yang!

Nora came between them.

Nora: Nora!

Blake: Did they just run all the way here with a deathstalker on her tail?

Yang got pissed and her eyes turned red.

Yang: I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something crazy happens again?

Sonic: * 3,2,1, and-*

Ruby points up

Ruby: Umm...Yang?

We look at what she's pointing at and see Weiss holding onto a giant bird.

Weiss: How could you leave me?

Ruby: I said jump...

Shadow: She's going to fall.

Ruby: She'll be fine.

Ren: She's falling.

Jaune sees Weiss. He jumps off the tree and she lands in his arms.

Jaune: Just dropping in?

Sonic: Um... guys your still in the air!

They both look down.
