As the days start to pass, and the day Lukas comes to Australia gets nearer. My world begins to spin, my nerves growing by the day. I never thought I would ever be able to meet Lukas, but it's happening. In 4 days Lukas will be in the same city as I am and I will finally be able to hug him.
"4 days!" Giselle said. My birthday was a few days ago and Giselle gave me the hoodie. I have it in my closet ready to be worn in 4 days. In just 4 days.
"Time is passing by so fast, I don't know if I'll be able to do it. Knowing me I'll probably faint the moment I see him, never mind go up to him and hug him."
"You're being ridiculous, you'll be fine. You're finally meeting the guy be positive." She's always been the one to look on the bright side although she knows I'm not the type to believe on those positive thoughts unless I'm certain they're correct, which in this case, I know are completely wrong. I know I will have some sort of panic attack and I will embarrass myself and he'll probably never want to see me ever again. Yep, that's what's going to happen. "Kayla, stop imagining the worst! You'll be fine."
"I don't know. It's just I've wanted this for so long and now that it's finally happening I don't know if I can actually do it."
"But you can. I'll be right by your side okay?" I nod and hug her. Although my thoughts are haunting me I know that Giselle will be there to help me avoid embarrassment. She always has.
"I love you Giselle. Thank you for everything." She smiled. My phone started ringing and I let go of Giselle to see who it was. "It's Lukas!"
