This Imagine is for Rachel Pendergast

You and your sister was in the hospital looking after some kids in the waiting room...when you see two older kids picking on one little boy wearing a hospital tag around his wrist...you and Rachel go over and correct the older kids and take the little boy to the other side of the room and ask him if he was alright...he sniffled a little bit as he was trying not to cry...and said that those boys were mean...and said that he didn't need to play with the toys...because he wasn't going to be around long enough to enjoy them.

You and Rachel couldn't believe your ears, at what that sweet little boy was telling them...you both were so steamed up that you had half the mind to go tell those kids' parents off for letting their kids say horrible things like that to little baby's that were as sick as that precious little angel was...but you both calmed down, and took the little boy over and grabbed some toys for him and sat down on the floor with him, and played with him...then Rachel asked for a couple dollars for she didn't have enough, and wanted to get him some ice cream...you handed her you pocket change, continued to play with the little boy.

Rachel went down to the cafeteria and bought little ice cream cups for each of them...but before she left back to the waiting room...she heard a man talking to someone on his cell phone and he wasn't happy at all...he ended up throwing the phone down and it shattered at her feet...he ran over to her and apologized, saying he didn't mean for it to travel quite that far...she smiled at him and handed him one of the ice cream cups and said it would make him feel better...he thanked her and followed her to the same waiting room...and told her of his problem with his son Johnny and his stupid mom that wouldn't even come down to sit with him during his chemo treatments...then he shook her hand and told her his name was Criss.

When she and Criss made it to the waiting room they saw you and Johnny sleeping together on the floor...Rachel knelt down and asked if you still wanted the ice cream...which brightened the little boy up instantly and said yes pwease...you sat up as Rachel handed you one of the cups...Criss came over and said that it looked like his son...found a couple of girlfriends while he was out...you slowly stood up, but your leg was asleep and you fell over...as Criss caught you...he said he's had girls fall for him...that was a little sudden...you looked up at him and smiled...and told him you weren't the most graceful of people...you and Rachel both explained what happened with his little boy, and why you two were playing with him...Johnny crawled up in his dad's arms...and began playing patty cake with him, as he was talking to you and Rachel.

The doctor came out, and called Johnny back to start his treatments...and he quickly squirmed out of Criss's arms and hid behind you and Rachel...telling you over and over that he didn't like that...it hurted him...Criss stood up and said that his two new friends would go back with him...but he really needed his medicine...to make get better...Criss lifted him up on his shoulders as you and Rachel held each of his hands, and stayed for his treatments...and you all kept Johnny occupied, so it wouldn't bother him as much...after the treatment was over...Criss decided that he really liked both of you a lot, and offered to treat you both to dinner with him and his little munchkin...you both said that it would be awesome to have dinner with two very sweet gentleman...which in turn, led to you and Rachel being very close friends to them both ever since...especially when Johnny told his daddy that he was keeping you both...and adopted you into his family...Criss couldn't say no to his mini-Mindfreak...so it was settled you and Rachel were family forever.
