Dear Rebekah,

The first time I met Posie was in the darkest and coldest winter Europe had ever seen, everywhere was covered in snow and I was disorientated, completely stunned as to what our aunt had done to me.

She'd sent me off to an enchanted slumber and I had woken up with no signs of ageing and no recollection of where I was.

All I knew is that I was being watched, from the trees I almost felt the eyes on me, causing my magic to flare up, blue sparks radiating off of my hands, a warning sign Dahlia had taught me.

"Show yourself." I had called and all I got in response was the cracking of a twig deep in the woods.

Armed with my magic I reluctantly stepped further into the underbrush, hoping to get a look at whatever creature was staring at me.

"I won't hurt you if you show yourself to me." I had promised, not that it did any good, I had to all but throw myself into the newly turned vampire's arms before I saw her.

When I smacked into her after chasing on endlessly I could see her eyes closing in on my neck, causing me to pull away and wrap my cloak closer around my neck, causing the girl to shake her head and look down.

"Who are you?" I asked, staring steadily at the blonde haired girl with the red cheeks and the sad eyes.

"I'm Posie." She had answered simply. "I'm a vampire."

I stared at her, bewildered, I knew what my siblings were but for someone to come out with such a secret so blasély was beyond me.

"If I didn't know that vampires excited I would ask if you were mad." I stated.

"I thought I was mad myself when I woke up after the wolf man had snapped my neck and I started craving human blood." Posie had replied looking at me.

I can almost hear you laughing at Posie's nickname for our lovely brother Niklaus.

"My brother really does leave an impression doesn't he?" I had questioned which caused Posie to look taken aback.

I had held my hands up in surrender.

"Don't worry, I'm not a fellow creature of the night, I lost my siblings long ago, my aunt took me, raised me as a witch. I'm Freya Mikaelson but only blood not by affiliation."

I'm aware my introduction was probably a little over dramatic and self pity inducing, I know, don't blame me sister.

"You're not one of them?" She had questioned me and I had shook my head in response.

"I haven't seen my family since I was four, I have woken from a deep sleep my aunt has put me in and I'm determined to use my short awakened time to find my siblings." I had stated, holding my head high, knowing my story sounded even more ridiculous than her's of vampires and wolf men did.

"I've lost my family too, they died when the wolf man came to town, no one should be without a family, how about I help you find your's Freya Mikaelson?"

My dearest Rebekah, I had only know Dahlia for the past thirteen years of my life so for another human being to be so genuine towards me was a blessing, I didn't realise until just recently how much I needed Posie Snow, but I did.

"Deal." I had told her, a small smile on my lips as we shook hands.

If only I had known little sister that our family would be a curse neither of us could bare I would've fled that day but I didn't, not until our aunt caught up with me.

I'll write soon, all my love,
Freya
