In the small quiet town of Angel Grove, California, a teenage latina cartoon artist, named Bex (short for Beatrix) Chávez, struggles to keep her entire mapped out life plan afloat. With her parents recently deported back to Colombia only a few months ago, overprotective big brother drama, and her inspiration for new comics for the local newspaper a fritz, her structured life course is recked.

The future most definitely wasn't looking so great for little odd Bex. Well, that is until one of her old personal comic's, titled Voltron, begins to happen in real life (well, parts of it). Unfortunately, their Voltron wasn't made out of soul bonding lions and they didn't have a beautiful badass alien princess. At least, she had Trini who wasn't Bex's treasured alien princess Allura, but a rebellious kickass latina Power Ranger.

In short, Bex's master plan was tremendously fucked up in so many ways.

— the reason for this fic is because power rangers was a major part of my childhood. not only that but the new movie was fucking mind blowing. i have never seen so much diversity in one movie, it was insane. first of all, 4 out of the 5 main leads are poc! there's a indian superhero, a chinese superheroe, and there's an autistic superhero that is also black! there's also a lesbian superhero that is also latina! like guys come on, go watch this movie of you haven't already! y'all always whine and cry about the media not having diversity, but when this movie came out y'all were silent. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm interesting. anyway... this is a power rangers fanfic but also a trini kwan fanfic. my oc and trini are gonna have very slow burn tho, which means they're not gonna grow as a couple that fast.
