Davekat One-shots

Confession

          It was eighth period, the last period of the day and Dave planned to tell karkat something after that period.
He was planning to tell karkat about his feelings for him. It wasn't the most romantic thing but he knew karkat and he knew how he would want someone to confess to him.

He had over heard rose and kanaya talking about it but barely and it seemed that they just wanted it to happen. He has also asked kanaya of she knew if karkat had feelings for him, she got uncomfortable and looked anxious. He took that as a bad sign but he wants karkat to knoww.

It has been hard to focus all day, he's been thinking non-stop about the possibilities of karkat not returning the feelings. He had not talked to barely anyone but rose and John all day, for mainly advice. They knew about his feelings for karkat and they have been trying to see if karkat liked him back but all of their attempts failed. He doesn't believe that rose doesn't know though, she is dating kanaya and their not really people to lie to their partners. He was skeptical but didn't say anything.

Dave's 8th period class was a study hall so students were allowed to leave they just had to stay in school property. Dave took the opportunity to leave and think. He walked out to his car waiting for karkat. Dave already drove karkat home every day to he wouldn't look creepy or weird waiting for karkat.

Maybe he should take karkat somewhere romantic to confess but if karkat rejected him it would be an awkward drive home. He decided to take his chances with taking him somewhere romantic he just had a feeling karkat would return his feelings. Considering the way they act around each other it wouldn't be a surprise.

Dave zoned out thinking of what could happen for what seemed like 2 minutes for him but 45 minutes for the rest of the school. The bells soon rang and students flooded out of the front doors. Dave watched the crowd anxiously waiting for karkat to leave and get into the car. Dave waited and soon everyone fled from the school but he has yet to sea karkat walk out. He rest his head on the driving wheel. He sighed in relief, he got to have a little more time to think.

Karkat walked out ten minutes later and hopped in Dave's car.
"Sorry I had to turn something in and my locker got jammed." Karkat apologized.
"It's fine I do t mind waiting" Dave said in response.

Dave pulled out of the school parking lot and drove near the forest where he found a perfect place to park and watch the stars.
"Dave I hope you know this isn't either of our houses" karkat said.

Dave nodded and smiled.
"Kitkat were here to watch the stars we aren't supposed to be at our houses to do this"
Karkat blushed looked away and got out of the car sitting on the roof of it.
Dave smiled and got out, feeling a little more confident in what he was going to do.

Dave stole quick glances at karkat as he stared in awe at the stars. He giggled a little at how cute karkat's face was. He had big bright mahogany eyes and cute freckles dusted across his cheeks. His mouth was merely open and his hair looked so soft and perfect. Karkat noticed Dave's giggle and asked,
"What is it?"
Dave looked around thinking,
I should do it now. Its the perfect time.

Dave looked karkat in the eyes and leaned closer.
"Karkat I have to say something that I have wanted to say for awhile now"
Karkat gasped and his eyes widened.
"Karkat, I really like you and I want you to be my boyf-err matespritship.
Karkat smiled wide and jumped into Dave's arms whispering,
"Yes and, of course" into Dave's neck.

Karkat parted from his arms and moved closer to Dave's face leaving their faces mere inches apart. Dave giggled and kissed him. They kept their kiss sweet long and passionate.
Their lips moved in sync like they were fit together like puzzle pieces. Their teeth awkwardly clanked together at times but they kept their slow pace.

Karkat parted from their kiss staring at Dave's face, he slowly moved his hand up and touched Dave's sunglasses. Dave nodded and karkat meticulously took Dave's aviator shades off. Karkat looked into Dave's beat red eyes and gasped moving closer. Dave looked away and frowned.
"Dave I love your eyes don't turn away"
"Karkat..."
"Shut up dave" karkat whispered and kissed Dave again.
Dave closed his eyes and melted into the kiss. Karkat moved his head over deepening the kiss, karkat snakes his arms up around Dave's neck and Dave put his hands on his hips.

They two boys stayed like that for a while before they drove home for the night and karkat stayed at Dave's house.
