John was getting ready to go and get his guitar repaired so he could keep recording with the group. He said goodbye to Cynthia and Julian, got into his car and went.
He arrived to the shop and grabbed his guitar. As he walked in waiting, he noticed a man reading a book about fantasy creatures. He chuckled at this for he didn't believe in such characters. John was then next in line and told the worker that he needed his strings repaired. As he was about to leave, the man that he saw reading earlier ran up to him.
"Hello sir." He said quickly "Take this pendant for which you will have such magical powers!"
John stared at the guy wondering who he was. He took the pendant from the man and shoved it in his pocket. "What a story to tell the boys" he thought.

About an hour had passed when John got a call that his guitar was ready. Getting into his car once more, he went to the repair shop to get his guitar. Looking over, he noticed that what he had called the "Pendant Man" was still there, reading his book. Not thinking too much about the man, he got his guitar, payed the man and went down to the studio to record.
"Hey, where've you been?" Paul asked as John walked through the door.
"Just gettin me guitar fixed." He said.
"Well let's get recording then." Paul said.
Before they were ready, John looked at the pendant one last time chuckling at himself.
It was halfway through their recording when John got a massive headache.
"Argh, I've got a bloody headache!" He complained
"I guess we should take a break then." George said
It was then at that moment when everyone's eyes were on John as something weird was happening to him.
