Chapter 5

John went back to find the others to tell them that he found Julian and about his plan to save George.

"Guys! I found Julian!" He said with Cynthia running up to him.

"Julian, I've missed you so much!" She said hugging Julian tight.

"We also have a plan to get to the overlord's keep and possibly save George." John said.

"Ooh what is it." Ringo said.

"Well," he said "It's going to be that you and Paul will be crawling through a hole to the overlord's keep."

John took Paul and Ringo to the hole he was talking about and told them good luck. The two crawled through the hole until they came to a room full of what seemed to be the overlord's treasure.

"Ooh look at all this stuff!" Ringo said while trying to fit whatever he could inside his pockets.

"C'mon Ringo, we're supposed to be looking for the overlord. Put everything back now." Paul said.

Ringo followed Paul's orders, but then one of the treasures that was near Ringo started to make a noise. Before he could get away, Ringo was then turned to stone. Paul noticed what had happened and went up to him. Without Ringo he was alone and didn't know what to do. Paul then heard one of the overlord's henchmen coming and tried to run away, but he got caught. He then brought him to the overlord.

"Another one eh? Put him into that cage over there." The overlord said.

"Flare! Guard this unwanted human while I'm gone!" He said to George.

"G-George ?" Paul said. "George it's me Paul! Remember we're friends?"

George didn't listen to Paul, but instead thought he was food. He opened the cage and started to chase Paul with his hand. Paul ran trying to find a way to escape until he found a hole in the cage and ran back to the treasure room with George following him. George unsuccessfully caught Paul as he got his head stuck in the hole.

Paul went through the hole to find John, Cyn and Julian still there and explained to them what happened. Once John heard about what happened to Ringo, he became worried and wanted to go save him. Julian told John where the keep was and he flew there.

John found the keep and went into the treasure room to find Ringo looking like a stone statue. He picked up Ringo and brought him back to where the rest of the group was. They tried everything they could to fix him, but nothing worked. Then John's pendant shot out a beam of light that went onto Ringo causing him to break free of the stone.

"Ringo!" Paul said as he went up to Ringo and hugged him.

"Hey, do you guys think that beam of light could turn George back to human?" John asked everyone.

"You could try." Paul said. "George is probably still at the keep."

John then picked up everyone and flew to the overlord's keep.

Once they got there, John set down everyone behind a tree where they would hopefully be unnoticed by George. John then went up and approached him.

"Hey! George! Would ya stop acting like this?" John said to him.

George looked at John, confused at what he said. He then stopped to listen to what John was saying.

"We're all friends here," John explained. "You really shouldn't listen to that overlord guy, he's just trying to make you a bad person."

George was about to do something when the overlord had come back. The overlord noticed that George was almost free and tried to get him back under his control, but failed.

George was now on John's side and wasn't evil anymore.

The overlord then called to his henchmen to stop the two from escaping. They blocked John and George's way out with only one choice, to fight the overlord. They accepted  this challenge and faced the overlord head on.

They tried using their powers, but it only made the overlord laugh at their failing attempts. The overlord then used a spell on them which caused them to rise into the air unable to get down. He then trapped George and John in glass balls and left them there.

Julian then got out from behind the tree and went up to them. The baby dragons he was with earlier came up to help him. The overlord laughed thinking that there was nothing that could be done.

"I know how you can get out." Julian said. "You just need to focus on saving saving everyone like you did with Ringo and George."

John began to focus and in no time a beam of light shot out of John's pendant making him and George falling out of their glass balls.

The overlord tried to put another spell on them, but escaped before it hit them.

George thanked John and suggested that they needed a plan to defeat the overlord. John thought about how his pendant had saved everyone else, and that maybe it could defeat the overlord. Julian suggested that the pendant might be powered by positive thoughts. John thought  for a moment thinking that he might be right. He then faced the overlord.

The outraged overlord called his henchmen to attack John. He then started to think about positive things sending beams of light out from the pendant, causing the henchmen to back away from him. The henchmen then revealed to be creatures that were corrupted by the overlord, with the beams freeing them. They thanks John and escaped from the place.

John then faced the overlord once more thinking of the most positive thought he had, when he started the Beatles. The beam started out small and then grew larger with the overlord unable to defend himself. He was now human.

Everyone went up to what used to be the overlord, surprised that he was human. As they went up, he tried to be threatening, but gave up saying that he just wanted to be someone. Everyone then asked why he was an overlord trying to hurt everyone.

"Well, I just wanted to have a lot of power, so I came here to be a wizard, but soon became power hungry and just wanted to be ruler of the place." He said. "I'm sorry for causing so much trouble."

"How are me, George and Julian going to turn back to human then?" John asked.

The overlord went up to each of them removing their pendants making them human again.

"Before I transport you guys back, you're all welcome back here overlord free." He said.

They accepted this and were transported back to the real world, glad to be back home.
