She shares a life with little dolls,
oddly staring at all those kids.
She sighs at them, not getting it;
The noises, laughter and the mischief.
Then again the time comes to change,
serious talk, adult's rules, another range.
A breather in her not-so-childlike life,
she understands, she finds a place.
Yet we'd never find a path that was easy,
she had to leave, she broke out again.
No time for the dolls, she grabbed a ball,
and not caring she slammed it against a wall.
Her life upside down from the beginning,
she had to learn to juggle with it.
From break downs to downfalls, she stumbled,
until she found a way, her own balance.
She forgot the dolls but found some dreams,
she learned to smile at her mistakes.
Still a child in an adult shell, she broke the rules;
For a girl to never grow up too fast and miss the point.
