AUTHOR'S NOTE
Each chapter will be uploaded in segments as I will join them later to make the chapters lengthy and sufficient.  Also the character list will be deleted( I would have done it now,  but don't know how to do it in my app) since this story is no longer a fanfic.  It's genre is changed.

The bluish sky blazed brightly.
The entire city dazzled under the bright sunlight.
Since summer was around the corner,  sunny resplendent mornings had become more frequent.  The birds wheeled around,  obviously enjoying the warm morning light, while some local people took the opportunity to go out for a morning walk with their dogs. The  roads were almost empty,  except for a few school buses. The Usually active city looked almost dormant in the early mornings.
The weather was extremely pleasant, much to Mariya's dismay.
Wearing her new uniform,  that consisted of a deep greenish black skirt with red and blue lines, that almost reached her mid thighs,  a bright white shirt and a deep green blazer that ran up to her waist, Mariya Waters stood in front of Crosswell High, it's towering shadow almost engulfing her 5.9 height.
Crosswell High, one of the leading schools in the whole world looked hardly like a school.
Instead it looked like a glass castle,  coming out straight from a Walt Disney movie.  The school was massive,  its majority transparent,  covered with crystal clear glass which  sparkled under the morning sun.  It's walls were colored a light gold ,  and its compound was covered with artificial grass.  It's gate was made of heavy steel, with lasers and CCTVs for extra security.
Two bulky guards were positioned on either side of the gate, ready to scare off any intruder,  that came in front of them.
The school looked extremely expensive and royal.
Definitely not Mariya's type.
"Remind again why are we here? " A very bored and unimpressed Mariya asked to her middle aged Aunt.
" To survive" Mirza replied tartly, her eyes never leaving the outrageously pretty building.
out of all the schools why did it have to be this?
After homeschooled for whole of her life it was definitely going to be difficult for her to get familiar to the new surrounding.  She didn't have a single school experience.
I wonder how I am going to survive this.
It was really ironic that she was thinking about surviving in this school,  when the whole reason for her admission here was so that she could be safe.
And remain alive.
"Aunt Mirza? " Mariya asked, unsure of how to put it in words.
"yes dear? "
"Is he really back? "
Silence.
Mariya thought she would not get any answer when suddenly her aunt replied gravely, "yes,  I am afraid so dear. "
Mariya sighed.
She was really scared. Who knows the next six months   could be her last time in this world.
"shall we get in? " her aunt's voice brought her out from those depressing thoughts.
Taking out her luggage,  Mirza and Mariya walked through the gates, passing the security.
They walked towards Mariya's temporay home for the next six months.
Crosswell High, New West city.
