(Y/N)'s POV-

Oblivion... I'm stuck there. Nothing but an endless darkness consuming me. No light of some sort anywhere. I sighed softly, completely devoid of any emotions within me other than the sense of bitter loneliness. What was I doing? I couldn't grasp onto what I had been doing previously though, and for some strange reason, I didn't care. I felt empty and vulnerable, a sickening feeling boiling within me. I wanted to escape this dreadful feeling, but it was futile. Just like how I thought I could forget all of my troubles.

My breathing wavers slightly, my hands curling up into tight fists. It wasn't fair; life wasn't fair. I closed my eyes, almost as if I had accepted this feeling as my own. Do you feel her? Do you understand her pain and torment, knowing very well that she's trapped forever, not being able to move on? I snapped my eyes open, my breath hitching slightly. I didn't understand what that was supposed to have meant, but at the same time, I sure as hell didn't want to.

My gaze finally shifts to a small, dim ray of light shining down upon three figures. Standing there elegantly is a woman with long, curly rich dark hair with soft, warm brown eyes. Just looking at her gives me a sense of security. That nasty feeling that had been developing within me had vanished once I casted my gaze upon her. I didn't break our 'staring contest' out of fear that she might disappear and that feeling may return. However, I knew I couldn't keep staring like this.

My (E/C) orbs shifted to the tallest figure there. The man has dark brown hair as well with reddish brown eyes. A sense of respect filled me as I stood perfectly still, basking within his sharp yet warm gaze. This felt different from the woman's aura. He felt powerful and noble at the same time, and for some reason, I had a strong desire to prove something to him. I didn't know why, but I merely let the feeling sink in until my eyes shifted over to the small boy. As for the boy, he had similar features of the adults. He has dark brown hair that's a bit curlier than the fathers, but he has the same eyes as him. It feels strange, but I feel like I've seen that same gaze before and felt that same strange aura.

I hesitantly decided to approach them, my heart beginning to pound as my body slightly trembled. Perhaps they could be my family... Could they really be my family? My lips part to speak, but I can't seem to find my words to ask them if they truly are my family. Deep down, I really wanted to know, but at the same time, a part of me wanted to make sure that remained a secret and long forgotten. The woman let her lips curl up into a small, comforting smile. It was like she had already known what I had sought to discover. She reached out, her icy, cold hand taking hold of mine as she gave a small nod.

My eyes widened, tears beginning to brim my eyes as I froze in place, not daring to breathe for a moment. Reuniting with my family has been my one wish since I was kidnapped as a small child. My mother pulls me into her loving embrace as her lips parted to say such soothing, comforting words in my ear. My father's arms wrap around us both, his arms tightening around us as if he too had feared that we would all be separated again.

The boy however had one tear drop on his cheek. In his eyes lurks guilt and sorrow. Why? Is he upset about what had happened so many years ago? I didn't bother to ask him about it, knowing it's not a subject I should bring up since I just reunited with them. I lightly pulled away from my parents' warm hug as I knelt down next to the small brunette. At first I remain quiet, my (E/C) orbs search his for something, but I'm not sure what it is. I feel like their something unusually strange about all of this.
