{12. Is It Really You?}

"How is he here? I thought all of your family was gone," Liam questions with his brow raised and his arms crosses as he looks at Niall's brother. How could he be here? Liam isn't mad, he's just very confused on how he's alive.

Niall turns to his brother who is now looking at him; his palms are sweaty and his heart is racing.

He thought that he'd never find his younger brother after all this time.

His happiness is over the roof at this point, because his In-laws will be quite happy to see him. They haven't met, but they are excited to meet him. They're also hybrids just like them.

"I-I know it may seem strange that I'm here, but it was only our elders that passed, Ni; including our parents, sadly," his brother reveals with a frown, his bottom lip wobbling at his thoughts.

Niall pulls him into a hug as he starts tearing up, rubbing his older brother's back as Liam watches with shaky breaths. This is beautiful to him, but also very upsetting, because of the truth.

"I-I'm just so glad that you're here, Greg... I've missed you s-so much and I seriously thought that you were gone, that you left me."

Greg rubs his back slowly and sighs while a tear drips down his right cheek. He missed his younger brother to pieces. He wants to know this other man that's with Niall, though.

The older brother looks over at Liam as he pulls away from Niall, eyeing him up and down as he crosses his arms slowly, his soft ears flaring up.

"I'm sure you've been the one who has been taking care of my baby brother, correct?" Liam nods as Niall goes over to him, wrapping his arms around the full human who looks at Greg still. The taller man licks his lips and clenches his jaw.

"Are you two together? dating?" Niall nods before Liam could, making the brunette blush from how confident the blonde has become; maybe it's just because of their brotherly relationship, though.

"We are, Greggy. Liam is the best boyfriend, ever." Greg smiles big at the brunette, nodding firmly towards the man before shaking his hand. Liam shakes his hand with a kind smile across his face.

"It's nice to meet you, Greg. I've been taking really good care of Niall and he is the best hybrid that I could've ever asked for, and boyfriend," he admits to the brother, making Niall blush and bury his face in his boyfriend's chest.

Liam wraps his arms around the blonde's waist and kisses his head before walking out of the closet to actually talk in the room. His arm is still wrapped around the hybrid as the three of them sit down.

Greg takes out his phone and scrolls through it to find something that he needs to show Niall, as the blonde wraps his tail around Liam's waist. The brunette smirks a bit and pecks Niall's lips, earning a mewl from the kitten.

His brother rolls his eyes whilst chuckling, finding the photo after the two's quick kiss. He hands his brother the phone and what is shown makes Niall's heart flutter.

"Is this your wife, Greggy? And a baby boy?" Greg blushes this time and nods firmly, Liam moving away and over towards his desk to let the two talk, after kissing his hybrid's head.

Niall's brother adjusts the picture to focus in on his boy.

"His name is Theo and he is the literal sweetest towards people, but he would definitely enjoy you the most out of everyone he has seen."

The blonde giggles, but nods. He wants to see Theo and he wants to see Greg's beautiful wife.

He seems to have the perfect life and a beautiful family, though; he wants to have a beautiful family with Liam, but perhaps it's a little too soon for all of that.

They haven't been together for too long, so having a baby would be too much stress and pressure.

"I'd love to meet your family, Greggy, with Liam of course." Liam turns to them quickly, smiling big as they smile at him. When he turns back, a question still rings at the back of Niall's head.

"How did you get in here, by the way? The front door was locked and I thought the back was too?" Greg laughs softly and shrugs.

Liam is eavesdropping now, because he wants to know as well. The brunette has good sense of hearing, so it was strange that he couldn't hear the older hybrid.

"The back door was unlocked; I knew that you were here though. I was just too scared that the person you lived with was cruel, like how the lady said last time when you were sleeping. I figured I shouldn't wake you, so I apologize for not telling you a year ago." Niall sighs, but rolls his eyes.

"I understand, but Liam is the sweetest man on earth, and the best caretaker, also boyfriend."

Niall giggles as Liam shakes his head chuckling. The man is obviously blushing, which makes the older hybrid laugh softly.

He thinks that the two's relationship is quite adorable, maybe even more than his own with Denise.

He's happy that his younger brother found someone so perfect in his life, because it's hard to find a guy like Liam.

A man who is willing to do whatever it takes for a hybrid and to even love them in the process? It's a beautiful thing to Greg. A very beautiful thing.

"Good, I'm glad that you two are a thing. But hey, maybe you two can come over tomorrow for dinner? You can meet my family and they can meet you two? It'd be great." Niall looks over at Liam after he turns around again, nodding in the process.

"Sounds lovely to me Greg, just give us the address and time and we'll be there. Just let Niall give you his number and everything should be good."

Greg nods and does just that, noticing how happy Niall seems to be. It warms his heart to the fullest.

Once they're done exchanging numbers, Greg stands up and yawns, stretching out his arms as his tail moves slowly.

"I'll see you two tomorrow, then. I don't live very far, so my ride home should be fine. Love you, Ni and it was great meeting you, Liam, truly." Liam gives him a firm nod as the blonde hugs his brother before leaving them.

The man goes back over to his hybrid and notices that he isn't tired and vice versa. He hovers over his kitten, after quickly locking the door, and smirks down at him as he giggles. His cheeks are already dark and he knows what's happening.

"Do you still want to make love, kitten? I'm full of energy and I want to make you feel good," Liam whispers huskily into his baby's ear, making Niall  moan softly as a shiver runs down his cool spine.

He wants, no, needs Liam. He's wanted him like this for a little while now; no backing down now.

"Make love to me, LiLi."
