"Do you think today is going to be a nice day, Alles?" I ask trying to break the silence, that has been ever present since she picked me up. I asked her to drive me to the airport so she could be the last one I say goodbye to before I head off to Main.

"Eh." Is all that she mumbles out. I can't take this negative energy anymore, I reach over and jerk the car onto the side road.

"What the Hell Lee!" She screams.

"Look at me, please, whatever is going on up here," I point to her head, "Needs to stop. This, is not forever. We are not going to end once I get on that plane. I promise you." My heart pounds hard, with emotions.

" I love you more than anything in this galaxy, no one could ever replace you my Star." Tears form in the corner of her eyes and I automatically lean over to her and kiss them away.

"None of that," I poke her sides and she lets out a loud squeak, then a giggle, "There that's better."

She wipes her eyes and turns back toward the steering wheel, "We better get going before you miss your plane."

"What nah, that plane can wait on me." I say, which in return gets an non-amused eye roll.

"All joking aside we need to get you to the airport now sit frontward, so we can get moving again." I love it when she uses her wife tone.

"Yes, dear." I mock before kissing her and returning to a normal sitting position in my seat.

As we drive closer and closer to the airport her face twists into a devastating look, and she seems to have a though brewing deep in her mind.

"Leon." She starts.

"Yes, honey?"

She lets out a deep breath, "I'm...I'm really gonna miss you."

"I'm gonna miss you too." I say, but I can't help but think that she has something else on her mind.
