"What do you mean I'm kicked out?" I screamed, clearly confused. I didn't have enough from my job at a fabric store to buy a house, but what worried me most was that I had already paid rent.

"A durrr! You're 34, Adri! Now pack your bags and leave." My mother pointed to my room. "You've got until tomorrow morning."

I growled at her. "You've never been there for me and you know it. You're getting rid of me because you want to go out and be a whore without me in the way."

I stormed off to my room and slammed the door so hard it cracked a little. I searched my room for my old suitcases and contained most of my things in them. I grabbed sturdy boxes and pushed my valuables into them. I checked my whole room and grabbed my big stash of money that I'd been hiding for years. I placed it in my jacket pocket and zipped it up. I threw it on and slipped on my shoes. I rolled my suitcases outside and pushed my boxes into the backseats of my car, strapping them in. I threw my suitcases into the trunk and by the seats behind the driver's seat. I ran back in for my car keys and threw my house key at my mom.

"Fuck you, you useless bitch."

I left with a smile and hopped into my car. I waited for a minute and remembered my favorite water bottle was in my fridge and my tube of foundation was on my bathroom sink, but it didn't matter. I drove at the speed limit and found myself close to a very popular ut cheap hotel. I parked close to the door and ran to grab a large silver cart. I placed my three suitcases and two sturdy boxes on it and locked my car. I pushed the cart in and asked for a room.

"A room for one, please." I asked. The lady at the front desk looked up at me.

"Oh, hey Adri. You want the suite?" She asked. I nodded.

"Suite for one..." She typed it all in. "How many nights?"

I took a deep breath. "Err... how about from tonight to Tuesday night and check out Wednesday morning?" I asked.

She nodded. "Since it's like $100 per night and I have a free night card for myself or someone else, I'll remove $100 here..." She smiled at me. I thanked her.

"So, that brings you to a total of $510 with the extra fees of a suite." I pulled out my stash of $20's and yanked out 25 bills in total. I still had a lot left from the many years of working including my bank account and credit card. She handed me a key card and I walked away nicely, pushing my cart to the elevator and rolling up to floor 3. I rolled to my room number and swiped the card, finally ready to escape.

It took an hour to unpack, and I picked out my swim suit. It was only 5 p.m., and the pool always closed at 9. I changed and pulled my smooth hair into a bun, skipping to the elevator and dashing to the pool.

The adults were in the hot tub and two kids were just leaving the pool. I slipped into the pool and swam around, having so much fun I didn't realise it was almost 6. I jumped out and carefully walked out and grabbed a towel. I wrapped myself and took the elevator up to floor 3, going back to my room.

I had subtly left my door open without making it look obvious before I went to the pool, so I popped in and locked the door. I left my key card on the nightstand next to the suite bed (pun intended) and I rushed to my now unpacked hotel closet. I found my cupcake pajamas and took a quick shower. Eventually, I was changed and searching on my laptop for good food delivery places nearby.

I quickly ordered a chicken alfredo read bowl with no chicken and extra sauce, explaining where I was over the phone. I pulled out $20 for the bread bowl, a cola, and a tip. I waited until I heard a knock on my hotel room door and I opened it. I gave the delivery guy the cash and he left. I sat down at the desk/table they had in the hotel room and started eating while watching Hamilton on my laptop. I quickly switched to the tv and watched the news.

All of a sudden, something caught my eye.

"Lin Manuel Miranda is now asking that anyone who wants to audition for Peggy/Maria Reynolds in the hit Broadway musical Hamilton to go to the New York Theater on Sunday at 3 pm. Thank you."

I turned off the TV and screamed. I could be Peggy. I ran to my computer and began reading the Hamilton website. They had an audition form and I wanted to apply everything until I remembered my stage fright.

I closed my laptop and sighed.

I hopped into bed and huddled into the blankets, hoping something good would come out of the next day.
