No abbreviations such as pls. u, or any of the texting language. It is disrespectful to the reader in my opinion.
Try to keep the characters in character. I know it is hard but do the best you can.
Check for grammar. (use your Word program or whatever program you have) And I definitely know that is hard. I probably have some errors in this thing.
