I see you in the clouds,
In the waves, in the fields.
You're on your feet,
In front of me,
On the edge, holding dear.I see you in the tides,
In the storms, in the wind.
You're in the sea, in the sky,
Touching clouds and colors, and secrets no one else understands.I see you in the ground,
Between pebbles and diamonds, and trees.
You're in the embers of fire and flame,
I see you in all that I am.I see you in the rooms,
In the dark, in the brightest moon.
You're in our bedsheet, in our seat by the widest door.I see you in my memory,
In voices hoarse from wishing too hard, and hearts so red from loving too much.I see you in the stars,
In the rockets, in the dust.
You're in the universe, in our history,
Leaving trails, longer and bolder across my skies.I see you in the future,
In the streets, in my arms.
You're in my head, in the air, in the breeze.
Whispering and coaxing, and I see you and I think, I want to live like this, I want to touch the sea in the sky and the clouds in the ground, I want to breathe you.
