"Have you got bees in your brain?" Frost broke the silence rudely, "That makes no sense!" Mist thought that Cherryshade would claw her across the face, but the medicine cat simply purred, "They never do. But those are Starclan's words and they haven't yet failed us." Mist narrowed her eyes at Frost, "I am sorry for my sisters rude behavior. We are just having a hard time comprehending it all." "It is all right. You will learn, seeing as though you are staying with us." Nettlestar said. "I can't wait to get my clan name!" Frost purred excitedly. "You don't have to." Nettlestar said as he padded out of his den onto Long Ledge, the place where the clan held their meetings, and yowled, "Cats of Sunclan, join before the Long Ledge for a clan meeting!" Mist could hear the cats loudly gathering from her spot in the cave. Cherryshade took her place among the gathering cats while Amberriver led Frost and Mist to a place beside Nettlestar. "Spirits of StarClan, you know every cat by name, even the rouges, so I ask you now to take away the names from the cats you see before you, for it no longer stands for what they are. By my authority as Clan leader, and with the approval of our warrior ancestors, I give these cats their new names. From this moment on they will be known as Mistkit and Frostkit, for they are ready to join us in clan life, under your faithful and watchful eyes." Mist, now Mistkit, stared down at the crowd, feeling her chest fill with pride. These cats, cats that she hardly even knew, were cheering for her. But she also felt a bit sick. They were cheering for her because they thought she wanted to be one of them. She didn't.

Mistkit padded up to Shadekit, who had been watching her and Frostkit with his eyes full of pride. "I'm so glad you decided to stay, Mistkit! I thought for sure you would leave, after, you know, our argument..." he said trailing off and looking at the ground. "I'm sorry that I made you mad, Mistkit. I wasn't thinking of how you felt. I mean, you didn't know anything about the clan.I know you wanted me to go with you and all. But, I'm glad you're staying." Mist purred and rubbed her muzzle against his, "I'm glad I'm staying, too, Shadekit. Though I would still rather live with just the three of us, I couldn't leave you. Besides, Frostkit loves it here." Mistkit glanced towards her sister, who was talking to an old brown and white tom. She purred slightly. Maybe it won't be so bad here.
