It had been a week since Ethan had found out about this missing fan. He couldn't eat or sleep. Ethan has always cared so much about his fans and now that one is missing...he doesn't know what to do or how to take it.
"Have you heard anything?" Ethan asks Grayson.
"No the fans stopped tweeting about it maybe they found her Eth don't worry I'm sure she's fine." Grayson says.
"But what if she Isn't..." Ethan shakes his head, tears filling up in his eyes.
Today was supposed to be a special day. It was "Dolan Date Day" meaning Grayson and Ethan pick one fan to take on a date. They would always pick fairly. Who ever tweeted #dolandateday would get their username put in a hat. One of the boys would pick it out and that lucky girl would be treated like a princess.
In every fandom there are always the jealous fans. The ones who instead of supporting and being happy for each other they tear each other down.
Ethan had noticed that the girl who went missing dealt with that. She had people always replying to her tweets with rude things to say. So many ideas of what could have happened to this girl fill his head.
He doesn't quite understand though. Why would fans be tweeting about her if they hated her. It just doesn't make sense to him. Some fans are saying they are glad she's gone others are really worried. She wasn't a very popular account but she sure did get the hate.
"Ready?" Grayson says while grabbing his keys.
"Yeah." Ethan wipes his eyes and walks out the door of their apartment.
It's quiet the whole way there. Grayson is focused on the road and Ethan is focused on the missing fan.
They pull up to the theater. Why did Grayson choose to take a fan to the movies? You can't talk without people shushing you.
They both get out and walk in. The theater was filled with people. The line for tickets was really long so they decided to sit down and wait.
"Hiiiiii!" A small brunette girl squeals as she runs over to them.
"You must be Lauren?" Grayson says while standing up to hug her.
"Yes!" She says before being pulled into a hug from Grayson.
"You excited?" Ethan asks while pulling her into a hug.
"I'm beyond excited." She says before pulling away.
Grayson and Ethan just laugh. This is how most fans are. They have only came across one shy fan. She was 8...her mom had gotten picked but it was for her daughter of course.
"Did you know the girl who went missing?" Grayson asks Lauren.
"Not really, I mean all I know is that people say she was crazy." Lauren laughs.
The line had moved up and it was their turn to get tickets.
"Any snacks?" Grayson asks.
"I'm fine." Lauren and Ethan say in unison.
"It's like we were meant for each other Ethan." Lauren giggles.
"Guess so." Ethan fake smiles.
He loved his fans flirting and joking with him. He just couldn't shake the thought that the girl who is missing could be dead.
"Ethan." Grayson says waving his hand in front of Ethan's face. "You okay?"
"Yeah sorry I was just thinking." Ethan sighs.
