September 12th
"Hey." Noel says, letting Ethan and Grayson in her apartment.
"Hey I'm Grayson." Gray says before shaking her hand.
"Oh I know." She winks.
"Stay away from her!" A voice shouts from down the stairs.
They all three look down the stairs. It was just the old lady who lived down there. She never talked much. Her husband passed away about a month ago. She has a little dog that always barks at midnight and wakes Ethan up. The old lady always seemed to creep Grayson out. He said she was a witch. Ethan thought he was stupid for saying that.
The old couple had a grand daughter who lived with them. They say she went insane and now she's locked up in an asylum. She was around Ethan and Grayson's age. Ethan only talked to her once when the little dog got out. Her name was Debby.
"Don't mind her she's a little crazy." Grayson laughs.
Ethan looks down at her. Her face only showed fear. She had her little dog in her arms. She started to walk away but then stopped.
"You boys need to watch out for her I can see so much evil in her." She says quietly before walking in her apartment.
"Well that was creepy." Noel laughs.
"I knew she was a witch!" Grayson says and looks at Ethan.
Ethan felt off something was wrong. The old woman never spoke so why now? Why was she saying that about Noel?
"So you gonna come in?" Noel asks.
"Yeah sorry." Ethan says, walking in to her apartment and sitting down.
Grayson and Noel were in the kitchen. They were laughing about something.
"Hey guys I'm gonna go." Ethan says.
"But you just got here." Noel says, walking into the living room.
"I just don't feel good." Ethan walks to the door.
"Okay well just leave the apartment unlocked." Grayson says.
"Ok." Ethan says before walking out the door.
Ethan noticed someone looking around the corner of the stairs. They were looking up at him.
"Hello?" Ethan asked stepping down a stair.
"H-Hi." The person says.
"Oh sorry ma'am did your dog get out again?" Ethan asks.
The person steps out and Ethan's eyes widen.
"Debby?" Ethan says stepping back up onto the floor.
"Please help s-something is w-wrong with my grandmother." Debby says, tears streaming down her face.
"O-okay wait right here." Ethan says before running back into Noel's apartment.
"Ethan?" Grayson asks. "What's wrong?"
"Call 911 now!" Ethan says, shaking.
