You sat on your lonely double bed in your apartment, scrolling through different channels on TV. You've been so bored the past three months, and it was because Dylan wasn't here. You loved and missed him so much, it was scary. It was scary to think a person drove you this crazy just by not being around you for three months.

You promised yourself you wouldn't call him today, you were scared you were being too clingy. You wanted to give Dylan space. But sometimes you couldn't help yourself, you needed to talk to him so bad, otherwise it felt like your heart would burst out of your chest if you couldn't hear his voice.

You picked up your phone from the bedside table next to you and dialled him. Who cares, he's your boyfriend, you're allowed to miss him!

"Hey babe." Dylan answers the other line after a few rings, and you felt your whole body relax. Despite his voice being so calming for you, it also made you emotional as ever. Hearing him over the phone just reminded you that he wasn't here.

"Hey." You breathed, a smile forming on your face as you looked down towards your lap.

"How's things over there?" He asked.

"Oh, you know, not great. I miss you so much, Dyl." You droop, instantly feeling your mood decrease dramatically.

You heard him sigh on the other line before he spoke. "I miss you too. So much. I'll be home in a couple days, just hold out a little longer." He spoke gently, as if he could sense your emotional discomfort.

You sniff and nod, knowing you could hold on a few more days. You just didn't want to, that's all.

"Am I interrupting you?" I blurt, knowing he was in the middle of filming

"Don't worry about that, just talk to me. You sound upset." You sigh, pinching the bridge of your nose between your fingers.

"No, I'm fine. Just miss you, that's all." I sadly smile.

"I know baby, I'll be home soon. Just two more days, you can do that for me." You nod, tears beginning to spill out of your eyes.

"Yeah." You whisper, voice cracking as you try to keep your sob in.

"Are you crying?" He asks, sounding sad and concerned. You try to reply, but instead a sob comes out and you cover your face with one of your hands. Why were you so upset? Why did you rely on him so much?

"Hearing you cry is killing me. Please don't cry." He speaks over the phone, sounding miserable.

"I'm sorry, Dyl. Get back to filming, yeah?" You hiccup, hating yourself right now.

"How can I film knowing that you're crying? You better stop now so I can act properly, right?" He says and I chuckle.

"Yeah, you're right." I grin and my tears begin to fade.

"I'll be home in two days, I'll ring you when I'm done with this scene. I love you."

"I love you too." I smile and end the call. Falling back on my pillow, I take a deep breath in and out. I can wait two days.

Two days later, and I'm waiting at the airport for Dylan to arrive. My nerves are out of control, my palms are moist with sweat and I can't stop tapping my foot.

Dylan texted me five minutes ago that they've landed, but it feels like hours. I've watched the arrivals gate like a hawk, waiting for his gorgeous face to appear. How badly I needed to see him right now was crazy.
