Due to insistent (and persistent) readers' demand, I'm so proud to present to you the first Chapter of AFD Book 2. Yes, ginawan ko po siya ng Book 2 dahil na rin sa demands ng mga friends at readers ko na sumubaybay sa Book 1. I hope you guys love the flow of the story, as this one is a bit different from the first book. Why? Uungkatin dito ang kanya-kanyang love story hindi lang ni Kian kundi pati na rin nina Shane, Nicky at ni Brian - not mentioning that this is as well, the continuation of Mark and Mandy's love story.

This book is a mix of past and present, so 'wag po kayong ma-confuse kung makakabasa kayo ng medyo surprising scenes dito.

- FOUR YEARS BACK -

                                “BEST WISHES, MARKY LADDIE!”

                                “Sod off, Bri! Mandy and I are not married yet, you cheeky git!” natatawang sagot ni Mark.

                Natatawa ding pinawi ni Brian ang pagkakayakap sa kaibigan at ka-bandmate na si Mark.

                                “Well, engagement, wedding – it’s all the same so sod it, bro!”

                Naiiling ngunit natatawang sumagot muli si Mark.

                                “I don’t know if you really mean your greetings or you’re just taking the piss.”

                                “Don’t mind Bri’s unusual craic, Marky. What can you expect on the most womanizer lad in Westlife?” sabad ni Nicky.

                                “Yup! Don’t forget as well that he slept with all the girls he dated before, and then runs away from them afterwards. I feel sorry for them, seriously”, naiiling na sagot ni Shane.

                                “Oi! You lads can’t blame me if girls went crazy over heels on me. And I can’t resist their invitation of sleeping with them, you see. I’m just going with the flow, you know.”

                There’s a smooth, “Mr. Suave” attitude on Brian’s voice, na siyang hindi naman nalingid sa kanilang apat lalo na kay Kian.

                                “Tsss! Yeah, right! No wonder why you’re too afraid to commit until now.”

                Gulat at ‘di-makapaniwalang tiningnan isa-isa ni Brian ang apat, animo’y nalaglag ang kanyang mga panga sa sobrang pagkagulat sa tinuran ng mga ito lalo na ang kay Kian. Pakiramdam niya’y tila pinagkakaisahan siya ng mga ito.

                                “O, c’mon! Can you please stop turning the tables on me?”

                Mabilis siyang tumabi sa gilid ni Mark at saka niya ito inakbayan. At muli’y sumagot.

                                “It’s his and Mandy’s engagement night, remember? You should grill him instead and not me.”
