you heard castiel talking to dean

"So what are you going to do for your birthday?"
He asked
"Your birthday is coming up ?, how far away is it " you asked
Castiel looked at you then back to the game they were playing
" it's January 24"
Dean says
"I'm turning 19"
"Wow your getting old.., I can already see the grey hairs " you say jokingly with a smirk

Sam snorts and turns away as to hide it from dean
"Hey shut your cake hole"
Dean says tossing a pillow at you
"Fine, anyway what are you gonna do for your birthday " you say as you catch the pillow and chuck it back at him
"Laser tag" dean says and looks back to the screen
"Wow that's all I would expect you to go out drinking leg- " I you stop mid sentence
"The legal age here is 21 isn't it ?, that's lame"
"I don't understand is it different in other places ?" Cas turns around looking at you
"BOO YA" your heads snap back to the screen as gabe yells
"I WIN " on the screen is a be headed character you guess must be cas since he is glaring at his brother "I beat your high score " gabe jumps up and kisses sam on the cheek in celebration
Cas's head goes into the palm of his hands as he lets out a groan
"Sorry cas" you say patting his back
Cas's phone goes off he grabs it from beside him and answers it without even looking at who it was
"Hello ?, Charlie? Is everything alright "
He says into the phone
"Hey put it on speaker " dean says walking up behind you
Cas does as he say and put the phone on the table
"Hey Charlie,what's up"
A shaky voice came from the phone
"Hey dean, um I was wondering if you guys could come uh pick me up, please"
You could tell she was upset just from her voice
"Alright we're on our way,"
Dean grabs his car keys and his coat as cas follows behind him
"Sam,gabe go to the store with y/n and buy some chips and pop, just get what she would buy"
Cas says as he pulls his coat on and closes the door behind him

You sam and Gabe are in the store
They are grabbing chips and pop and all types of candy even some movies
"....so" you say" who's Charlie?"

"Charlie is our next door neighbour has bee since we were kids, she's like a sister to us, but her parents are worse then mine"
Gabe says putting more candy into the basket.
"What do you mean " you give him a puzzling look
Sam walks off to pay for the things we grabbed
Gabe sighs
"Charlie is adopted, her parents died when they were young, the people who adopted her are incredibly religious, they still don't know she's gay, she's to scared to tell them because they always talk about how gays are evil and how they are going to hell, she's scared to come out because she thinks they would send her back, and they would"

"T-that's terrible"
You say as you walk to the front of the store with Gabe
" once she turns 18 she wants to leave the house, I'm lucky my parents aren't as bad they accept the fact I'm gay and wouldn't dare try to kick me out because they know that cas will leave with me"
Sam walks to the front of the store
" alright " he says sliding the bag up into his shoulder
"Let's get back to the house"

You walk into the door of the Winchester Home and see a girl around your height with red wavy hair that fell in the middle of her back, she was dressed in jeans and a colour full sweater, a burgundy jacket laying over the chair beside her I must have been hers since it wasn't thee before .
that must be "Charlie " you thought to yourself

She looked over your way once sam closed the door

"Sam!, Gabe!" Charlie said

They stride over and hugged her
She looked around sam and over to you
"Who's this " she says as she gives you a warm smile
"Charlie this is y/n, she's our new neighbour " dean says putting his hand on your back as he pushes you forward a little
"Nice to meet you" Charlie says extending her hand towards you and smiles
"Nice to meet you as well" you shake her hand and smile back
You look at her face. Her eyes were puffy and her nose was red, you could tell she had been crying before you had gotten to the house

"A-are you alright you look upset "
You say
"I don't want to get you all caught up in my drama" Charlie says with a forced smile
"We just met it's not really fair " she walks back over to the table and sits down
"It's alright you can tell me when your ready I won't push " you say as you go and sit beside Charlie at the table
"Well." Charlie says changing the subject
"When I called I could tell Gabe was celebrating I'm guessing he beat your score Cassie ?" Charlie says nudging cas in the arm

"Yup" cas says with a sigh
"I was distracted"
"Dont make up excuses Cassie I won fair and square " Gabe interrupts

"How about I play you then Gabe" Charlie says with a smirk as she puts her arm over the back of the chair to look at Gabe " and how about we put money on it "

"Uh- you know what actually I remember! Cas you did get distracted.." Gabe runs his hand through his hair and takes a step behind sam
"That's what I thought " Charlie smiles and turns back around
"So why were you distracted "

"Oh that was my fault I guess I was talking about drinking ages in Canada and I confused him I guess" you tell Charlie
" what's the drinking age in Canada" Charlie looks at you
"19, worst part about moving I have to wait longer to be allowed to go into a bar "
"You got distracted by that Cassie come on you got to do better than that" Charlie says getting up out of her chair
" well come on let's play the game "
She walks out of the kitchen and into the living room where the game was set up
"Oh y/n are you coming to deans birthday?"
"Uh well I actuall-" "yes she's coming " dean interrupts and looks at you "right?"
