New girl-1

"Alexis! How are you" the principal asked. I smiled and he handed me my schedule.

It was only my first day in New York and I was already one of the nerds of Cambridge high school.

"I'm good thanks"I said taking my schedule.
I walked out of the office students leaning against lockers, hurrying to their classes.

I hurried to my class ignoring the whispers of "new girl, nerd"etc.
I walked into the classroom and all eyes were on me.

"Hi I'm Alexis Halt I'm new" I said staring at the bold man sitting behind the desk.

"Oh yes hello just sit in any empty seat you like" the teacher said gesturing to the seats that were free.

There were two seats empty one near a boy who had a cold and one by a girl who looked like a barbie the queen bee.

I sat down next to the barbie and took out the books I was given at the office.

"Okay class say hello the the new girl Alexis" the teacher said

"Erm it's Alex" I said pretending to be uncomfortable with the attention.
Really I wouldn't have mined, but this me totally did.

"Makayla " the girl next to me introduced her self as I gave her a smile and said "Alex".

"So are you a super smart girl that always gets good grades and does everything she's told"? She asked and I mentally laughed.

"You wanna have lunch together later I'll explain then"? I asked

"Yeah that sound cool" she replied, and I pretended to pay attention to what the teacher said when I was actually studying every person in the class, one boy in particular caught my eye. A dark brown haired boy with brown eyes and a leather jacket.

And god he was hot!
