A/N: This does have a bit of gore and violence, and is quite a sad story. So... Read at your own risk. Also, you will understand this better if you check out @Redlington1 book Post-Mortem.Got a secret
Can you keep it?
Swear this one you'll save
Better lock it, in your pocket
Taking this one to the grave
If I show you then I know you
Won't tell what I said
'Cause two can keep a secret
If one of them is dead?
The agonized screams of her final victim erupted into the air, fading into a final breath of the boy's life. Blood covered her from head to toe, and her amber eyes burned with the heat of the hunt. Her hot breath came out in ragged puffs as she stood motionless in the middle of the sea of corpses. She snapped. They pushed her past breaking point. Her temper had exploded, her mind blank and her actions mindless. She didn't know what she was doing when it happened, her mind was blank as her actions played out. Her daggers, coated in the blood of the many victims were held in her hands that lay limp at her sides and she hunched over, breathing heavily. Her body felt numb, her mind moreso. She couldn't understand what was happening, her eyes cold and empty, as if she were a mindless puppet covered in thick red watercolor paints. Everything looked grey and fuzzy to her hazy eyes. Her expression was blank and emotionless as she stood there, not moving at all.
A portal ripped through the dimensional wall, a tall figure leaping out. The person looked at the scene in horror, their eyes resting on her figure, still and unmoving as she stood solitary against the motionless bodies that lay around her.
"E-Eclipse...? D-Did you do this? Did you cause this multiplicity anomaly...? Why? Why would you do something like this?" Nathan questioned, his eyes widening in horror.
Eclipse's head raised slowly, she remained in her spot, her back still facing him. She didn't say a word.
Why do you smile
Like you have told a secret
Now you're telling lies
'Cause you're the one to keep it
But no one keeps a secret
No one keeps a secret
She turned around slowly, her movements slow and her expression blank. Her eyes held no emotion, her movements had no passion. She slowly stepped towards him, not making a sound. She stopped before him, tilting her head slightly to the side. Her eyes were cold.
"You've found me. I can't let you tell the others about this," She stated, her voice monotone. She seemed like she was going through the motions of a routine that had been performed many times before. When assassin finds a witness. A wolf finds its prey.
"Uh... what? What do you mean?" Nathan ask, his voice rising, undertone with slight fear.
"You know too much. You won't be able to keep this to yourself for long."
Why when we do our darkest deeds
Do we tell?
They burn in our brains
Become a living hell
'Cause everyone tells
Everyone tells?
