Hello everyone! This is my first time writing a story for other people to see and I am really excited about Dreaming Cinderella. I really hope you all enjoy it as I continue to write and please let me know what you guys think. I am writing this all as it comes to me so please excuse any mistakes and let me know if you see any and I'll be sure to fix them. I plan to edit it once it is all finished. And please no unnecessarily mean comments', I don't mind helpful criticism but nothing mean please. And please don't steal my work as I've worked hard on this and this story has become a part of me. Alright with that all out of the way here is a summary for my story, which is purely fiction and made up purely by my imagination.
Emilia is a dreamer. All her life she has dreamed of fairytales longing for her own. Living in her parents inn she helps them run the place, meeting lots of interesting people who often tell her their story. Emilia's favorite thing about her little village is this, hearing people's stories, longing they were her own.
Emilia has heard stories of the capital, and longs to go there. She has heard that it is beautiful, and that the castle holds the most exquisite balls in all the kingdoms. Her dream is to attend one of those balls. She wants to wear a gown, and dance, to feel like a princess for one night.
But her parent's are against the Capital, they hate it for some unknown reason, and Emilia knows she will never see it. But still she doesn't let herself quit dreaming.
When she receives a letter inviting her to take part in the Prince's engagement ceremony, an event of a lifetime where many girls among the kingdom are invited for the chance of becoming the Princess, she knows she has to go. The ceremony allows the girls in the kingdom the chance to live life as a Princess until the Prince has decided which he longs to marry. And while Emilia doesn't even let herself consider she'll be picked by the prince, she wants to attend for the chance to finally get her fairytale dream, even if only for a few days.
But how can she attend when her parents hate the Capital and refuse to allow her to go?
The arrival of a mysterious stranger changes everything as Emilia realizes she can't stay in her little village forever, denying herself her chance to live. So going against her parents' Emilia runs away from home deciding to make it to the capital.
However along the way she runs into trouble, but is saved by the mysterious stranger, who then offers to help her get to the Capital, and she takes him up on his offer happy for the help.
Once at the Capital Emilia sees that the ceremony is even bigger than what she had imagined and the other girls' aren't looking for an enjoyable time, but are looking to win the Prince's heart at any cost, and Emilia begins to wonder what she's gotten herself into. Will Emilia win the heart of the Prince and become the Kingdom's Princess? Or will her heart instead be captured by the mysterious stranger who always seems to pop out of nowhere when she needs him?
